katelm - do NOT feel bad. You're doing the right thing. Take care of yourself. You have to because no one else is going to. Sometimes you have to put you first - this won't be the last time and nor should it be. A happy mom means a happier baby. ::hugs::
I also am having a sick day. I woke up nauseous and it has been nonstop since. I'm lying on the couch with a gatorade and going to sleep. Stress and lack of sleep have ruined me. I need to take a minute or I'll end up in a very bad place for everyone.

katelm - when DD1 was a baby I definitely called my mom to watch her so I could sleep instead of vomiting. Severe sleep deprivation is no joke. I hope you find sleep soon.

katelm You are doing the right thing and keeping your baby safe. I had to call H home from work once because I couldn't stay awake to take care of them and I thought I was going to collapse. Recognizing your limits before you create an unsafe situation is being a good mom.
Apparently DS is about to break the surface with his two bottom teeth. With DD I said she was teething from 4-8 months when she finally was. I knew DS was drooling and chewing his hands a lot bc I thought he just discovered them. Nope Dr said he's teething. Explains the rough nights. Gave Tylenol the last two nights before bed and he slept much much better. So this time around I can say he's actually teething.
