Forced myself to the gym with my sister and I'm glad I did! But at about 3:30 pm every day I feel a totally slump in energy and major heartburn (it's always there, it's just worse at 3:30ish) which makes the idea of the gym sound horrible. Starting to feel little guy for sure - still sporadic and light but I can tell the difference between gas and baby. DH is getting jealous.

HELP!
Okay this is totally TMI and gross and I don't know if I should post a new thread for this or if that would be a SS move, but I woke up this morning with diarrhea and it's lasted all day... No other symptoms really except for a VERY rumbling tummy. So I wasn't that concerned (even though this isn't at all common for me even during pregnancy) until tonight when all that was in the potty after an *episode* (so sorry for the TMI) was watery with what looked like a bit of mucus. PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT ASKING IF THIS IS MY MUCUS PLUG. Lol. Okay? Not at all. But I've been googling and I've seen several sites where they suggest contacting your doctor if you have diarrhea with mucus... Buuuut of course, Murphey's Law, it's a Friday night at 10pm. I don't wanna call the emergency on-call midwife and be like freaking out only to have her roll her eyes and tell me it's a case of the sharts. But of course I also don't want to be stupid and ignore something important. Again, sorry for the SS nature of this post. Please forgive. Lol Thank you again!
theBeeMama as a FTM, I'm going with the rule that if I've researched it, and I'm still concerned, I call the dr. I'd also be worried about dehydration with that much diarrhea, so it might be worth asking the dr?
One of my biggest symptoms right now is brain fog, which doesn't help me when I'm trying to catch up on all these changes! All I want to do is eat, sleep, buy cute baby clothes, and do nothing.
On board here. I've been completely tuning out for a good 30s when people are talking to me. Sometimes not even boring people and I drift off. DH caught me snapping back and said I had eyes glazed over. Its happening at work and I need to work until May!
Another note , starting to feel movements regularly before bedtime. Usually a rolling feeling but I've been getting kicks every 2-3 days. Definitely a soccer player in there because I'm not *meant to feel anything yet due to anterior
I have an anterior too and am having exactly the same feelings!! So lovely.
So note for those who are getting regular nose bleeds - the tampon trick from She's the Man totally works! DH thinks I'm crazy, but it wouldn't stop and I'm trying to sleep a little longer (up from 4:30 to 6:30... I could use more sleep)

Another anterior here! Nothing too exciting though. Last week it felt like someone was poking from the insides a couple times and now just feels like someone is putting pressure. Soo who knows what is happening or when I will get some full blown kicks! Doc says all is healthy so that is all I care about!
This may be more suitable for a randoms thread, but I finally gave in and Brazilian bikini-waxed myself yesterday... Let me say ouch! Pregnancy makes down-there soooo much more sensitive. And also, I can feel random patches of hair that I missed lol! -- but DH teased me earlier singing Welcome to the Jungle! What's a girl to do? I had to give it a shot!
OMG, you do your own Brazilian?! Is it hard to do? What wax do you use? I've googled for tips and I haven't mustered the courage to try it on my own.

Acne, headaches and restlessness. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in a while. Blah.
Hi! Sorry this took me forever to get back I was lost on TB drama lol. It is definitely hard to do your own wax, especially Brazilian. I'm a professional esthetician so waxing is part of my profession , so the training helps. Flexibility is key, too, which I'm quickly running out of with my growing belly lol! I use a lavender cream strip wax that I love. I would DEF not recommend trying it on your own without professional training! The skin is much more delicate and can burn, tear, bruise very easily. I would look around and get some good recommendations in your area
kimberlyandthor2014, are most estheticians willing to wax someone who's pregnant? I've done a bikini wax once, and am considering it again but worried I'd get side eyed for even asking to get it done. The last lady I went to asked me 3-4 times if I was pregnant, I wasn't at the time. So it made me wonder if they have guidelines with pregnancy

I've asked my sister (she's an esthetician, too!) about it but she never really outright told me not to try it. She is probably setting me up for failure to have something to laugh about. lol I'm in the middle of a beauty dead zone. I'll have to drive 45 min. in either direction from a decent waxing place with good reviews. At this rate (with all that lovely things going down there), it might be worth it.
RIGHT!? That's the only thing that irked me about this. I'm like, oh ok, so my massive jugs these days are not normal? PSH. In that gif they grow like 3 micrometers. Give me a break...

@s.coffey1123 et al, I'm reading this book and they actually mention waxes in it. They say you should avoid a full Brazilian as that includes waxing the labia, but other than you should be plenty safe

Hi again sorry I have not been on here in so long. If you really want to do your own I would definitely start with a simple area such as your legs, and become proficient. Then maybe maybe maybe try just the outsides of the bikini line. Brazilians are very intricate waxes and some of that skin (especially the sides of your lips) can be very delicate and tear or pull up a few layers, very easily. Ouch ouch ouch! I still say it's worth the drive!
And Stacey yes it is totally fine to wax during pregnancy, but it does cause changes to your skin so it's good for the esthetician to know. Skin is more sensitive and more susceptible to damage IF care is not taken. Aaaaaaaand it hurts a bit more! But sooooooo worth it

There is some debate about this but all of the doctors I've talked to say it is totally fine to wax or shave all out. This advice is due to the "that hair is there to protect you from infection" stance. Being completely bare CAN leave you more susceptible to infection, but in all my experience and from all that I have learned it is totally safe and very unlikely to cause issue, but be aware that some experts do say that pregnant/birthing mothers should leave "some" hair down there. Also be aware that your skin may react differently while pregnant and that is generally more painful. But I've been waxing for over 15 years, two of my own pregnancies now, and many other pregnant clients, and none of us has ever had any issue with a full Brazilian. I would check with your individual doctor if you are concerned...
