@katerli good luck with your appointment! FX for good news.
I am also much with the nausea yesterday and today. I am turning in a paper today so happy to have that off my chest but have two more to write and a presentation this week. I can't wait for the semester to be over.
ETA: PCP just confirmed I do have bronchitis. I'm wheezing. Super fun. Also, they did a full blood workup (my insurance requires it for a "wellness" benefit). The tech couldn't get any blood to come out of my left arm. So she started digging and wiggling the needle in my arm. I nearly puked and passed out. I got hot, sweaty, & vomity. Ugh. Hooray for Mondays!

Good luck today @katerli.
My office is hot as balls this morning and it's making me want to vomit.
This will be a tough week for me. Thursday is the second anniversary of losing my little girl. I took off work. Last year I volunteered at the animal shelter but this year I'm going to career day at my son's preschool. I work with children with disabilities and I feel like now more than ever we need to teach our kids empathy and compassion, especially towards those who are different from us.
I just found out last night that one of my bffs is also pregnant and due within a week or so of me! Neither of us know dates right now because we weren't tracking anything but sex. haha
I'm so excited, and I hope everything works out for us!
I had brunch yesterday with one of my IRL friends who is also pgal. Our babies are due 9 weeks apart. After dealing with IF it's nice to know that not ALL of our friends are done with babies and our little one will have someone to play with at social gatherings.
I don't feel pg yet, last time was smelling garbage and smoke lol then nausea. Of course tired which I do feel.
For 2nd + timers- what's on the to buy list?
juliayadda we have a chef at work but he cooks non- healthy foods and it's NOT personal but his assistant just made this apple dessert mmmmmm
Now I want apple crisp.
I don't feel pg yet really either. I keep forgetting I am. I poas again today. I think last time it took longer for symptoms to really set in as well, like 6-8 weeks and I'm only 5 weeks.
I think about the only stuff I'll need to buy is diapers, new pacifiers, and a double stroller at some point since these 2 will be 17 months apart.
I've forgotten I'm pregnant, then a wave of nausea will hit and I'm like "oh yeah."
We'll need another crib or a toddler bed for W to move into, and mattress, a double stroller (I'm thinking city select because I have the versa and love it), and clothes (lots if it's a boy, just some stuff if it's a girl because it will get colder when she's younger than DD was). I'd love to get a tula carrier. The girls on May15 love theirs, so I figured it'd be good with a newbie and toddler.
Great news akraus2015! My Mom was visiting all weekend, I love watching A (DD) with her. My Dad died in July, so it's always bittersweet when it's just my Mom here. My Dad lived for his grandkids, so I'm having mixed emotions...don't get me wrong this baby is very much wanted and loved, it just makes me sad that my Dad won't meet him/her. It's already hard that A won't grow up having her own memories, but we at least have a good amount of pictures of the 2 of them. Ugh.
In happy news H and I both love Christmas and we got all of our Christmas lights up outside! We won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving, but it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

get the Tula!!!! I'll probably be skipping the infant insert this go-around since this LO will be due in the summer and it'll be hot as hell with that thing on. I wanna get a solly wrap for the early weeks/months until LO is big enough for the Tula

I have a ktan that I liked for W when she was brand new, but I think the tula would be good for later. Like thinking about going to target with W in the seat and the bucket seat taking up all the cart doesn't sound appealing. So new baby in a carrier and W in the seat.
