I'm trying not to spiral on the lack of job prospects available that fit our needs. I know my expectations are unrealistic, but I just want to fast forward through the entire process. This is my goal for 2017 and it's not even 2017 yet. lol
I'm so upset. B has her 8mo photos tomorrow, and I ordered some velvet bloomers for it specifically. They still aren't here, & I doubt they arrive today.
Ugh they were going to be so stinking cute. Moments like this is when it'd be nice to live in an urban area.

People baffle my husband and I. We had a showing yesterday. They responded that the house was too small and another house on another street was bigger... Well yes, a 4 bedroom duplex with a granny suite will be bigger than a 3 bedroom townhouse that's $40 000 less. Like really people? Do you read the listing?

I know! We did newborn and that's it! Although I just found out that one of my neighbors down the street is a photographer and she said she would just take some for us, so that is awesome!

We didn't even do newborn ones. We did opt in for the school pics that they did at daycare and I'm hoping to do something for her at 1 year. Maybe a family photo then.

I have this really weird notion for a yearly pic that I wanna get. We just moved in and we have 3 new trees that were planted in our yard as part of the "landscaping" package that came with the house (new construction) so I want a pic of her standing with a tree and then to take that every year with her growing and the tree growing. Lol.
I definitely want to get some more keeper pics, especially family ones.

That is actually a really cool idea. You should definitely do that.
I was able to take J to daycare today. I'm glad for the break even if I have to work. It's like he's been possessed the last few days. I feel like there's an elephant sitting on my chest from the stress it has caused.

Oh hell no! (although I've seen people do it on this photographer's site. I don't even want to know what that costs)
It's a First year package...newborn, 4mo, 8mo, & 1yr.
My dilemma just got even better. Another outfit I was planning for her to wear swallows her. Sigh

Well, today was a day. Gave M my last frozen milk today. Her last BM ever. I may have been emotional.
Then, my mom fell down the stairs while carrying M!!! She protected the baby, who apparently laughed as my mom screamed and cried. Had to leave work to take mom to urgent care. Broken toe. She can't be on her feet or watch M. Ugh.

Hugs momma! You did an amazing job! I hope your mom is ok
Starting to wonder if J will ever be healthy again. His breathing treatments weren't helping so I took him to Children's urgent care this morning. We're home and he's ok now, but damn this has been so hard.
I feel like we all just need a damn break or maybe just a stiff drink or 5....sick babies, screaming babies, traveling husbands, injured husbands, injured grandparents, selling houses, buying houses, sleep regressions, eating strikes, and on and on.

Hi ladies! I hate that I can only get on to pop in once a week. Is it Christmas break yet?! Holy shit. I'm dying. Work + grad classes + baby + starting as a LuLaRoe consultant = DEAD.
The good news is J has been ear infection free for 1 week!! It's the longest he's gone since the end of September!!
I wound up with a sinus infection - today is the first day this week my face doesn't feel like it's going to explode. And there were ear issues too...I have really waxy ears, and there was a bunch compacted that was preventing any fluid from draining, so that had to be dealt with. It was...gross. But, it's better now, so yay for that.
Ummm...what else? J still refuses to roll over. He wants nothing to do with it. Seriously, kid. Just do it. He loves standing though, so there's that.
Boo to sick babies, traveling husbands, injured family members...how about we just bust out the booze and get hammered?
readinglove I'm down with the getting hammered part.
I have to bake a cake (cream cheese pound cake that is slap yo mama good) and I cannot find my travel cake plate. I'm pissed. I really do t want to have to buy another one.
