How are things going in the bathroom these days?

DD was peeing w/ almost no accidents last May (even wearing underwear overnight), but refused to poop. After months of dirty underwear we went back to pull ups, which resulted in a massive pee regression (like would never go). We've got her back to peeing often on the potty (not like she was), but still will not ever poop on the potty...never never! We have seriously tried everything. Back in June when we were first training she did poop on the potty and freaked the F out, and hasn't since. I don't know if something about that time scarred her, or if she isn't ready or what. There are many differing opinions from daycare teachers to pediatricians to other parents, and I don't know where to go from here. She needs to go back to underwear to get the pee back in check, but we just can't with the pooping not going.

Oh geez Unknown, sorry that she still won't go poop!!

DD was the same way and then one day she just started asking to go on the potty. I don't know what changed, but now she's been accident free for a few months. I don't have any advice, but I hope that she figures it out soon!

We are mostly accident free during the daytime but still use pullups for nap/bed with a 50/50 chance it's dry when she wakes up.

I don't know how to help your situation Unknown. 😕 We didn't even get a pee on the potty until almost 3

I did get her to poop in the bathroom, of course in here pull up. I told her it's ok if she doesn't want to go on the potty, but poop belongs in the bathroom so can we go in there to poop? She agreed and she did. I tried to reinforce that she was doing great and what she did is exactly what she needs to do on the potty, but to keep it up and at least go in the bathroom. I hope to try and get her to do that.

I voted completely trained for a while even though she does wear a diaper at night and almost always wakes up wet, I can deal with that for now. Im not sure how to go about the nighttime transistion, if anyone has any advice. She has given up naps (except the rare occasion but when she was napping she'd wake dry).

Sorry @sweetc29 for no pooping on the potty. I have no advice as it sounds like you've tried it all, hopefully she will just get sick of the poop feeling in her pullup/underwear and give in! Hugs and huge pat on the back for hanging in there, she will get there!

We started potty training in february. Pee was easy but poop was a battle. We are fully trained day and night since middle-ish of July. She had a small pee accident last weekend while at the park which completely took me by surprise. But other than that things have gone well. We do need to try and get her to wipe better but I find that's hard. Any tips?

We started at the end of February. Ashley is almost accident free - we will be going to panties for the daytime very soon, I think. Kayla pees like a champ but almost never poops on the potty. She will literally poop in her pants minutes after a successful potty pee. Ashley is awesome about telling me when she needs to go. Kayla never does, but she's overall a very reserved, quiet kid most of the time. Both wake up in the morning dry 9 times out of 10.

We've promised them special gifts if/when they are completely trained. A FurReal Cat that Ashley is dying to get and a talking Dory toy that Kayla fell in love with. The motivation it has provided has been unreal!!!
