My mom is coming up today and we are going to take e to the park and Santa is coming to my local mall at lunch time so we are going to go see santa.
E has really gotten I to mmch lately. When they are picking the mousekatools she points and if I am not paying attentions gets my attention to show me what she is picking.
So, we cleaned up some of our mail last night. MH opened a random envelope and then saw it was actually addressed to the bank (our business address is 1 number away from the bank).. but, it was a letter about a house going up for sheriff's sale in Hershey for $1mil that was apparently owned by Michael & Janet Jackson. Cool story, bro!
Morning! I had to present at today's orientation for new members. Not my favorite thing to do. Public speaking is evil.
SO and I will be doing a date night at the house tomorrow. We are low on funds (my car is getting tires on Monday), so we're going to do yummy food, beer/wine, and a movie once the baby goes to bed. I have every intention of finding ladymike wine! M and I will be near Wegmans tomorrow morning. I'm excited!
Also, it's exciting to be able to buy alcohol at a grocery store. Pennsylvania is slowly (so very slowly) coming out of the Stone Age with their liquor laws.

malvo, I remember driving to the border of PA/OH when I was in college to buy grain alcohol to have at parties. So, I mean, at least you guys can get the good stuff lol
Not relevant to your story at all, but oh well. Have fun on your date night!
Happy Friday! A and I are going to the allergist appointment shortly. I'm wondering if they will look at me like I'm crazy and turn us away as she's pretty much hive free all week now. Oh well, I've got pictures!
Did my first live sale last night. R helped. So glad the first one is over with.. I think I'll feel a bit more comfortable next time!
sjep922 In the recent past, you bought beer at beer distributors and wine+spirits at a liquor store. Alcohol runs almost always meant multiple stops. No alcohol whatsoever at the grocery store or gas station or whatever. But things are changing!

im here, survived the week.
Have ZERO things packed and ready for the flight tomorrow. Have MH's family coming over for dinner tonight for FIL's bday and im SO tempted to scrath the roast im making with ordering pizza hut LOL I would just love to see their faces. Hopefully I can sneak away from work for a bit to pick up all the goodies I can to distract D on the airplane.
Does anyone have any good ideas for toddler distraction activities on a plane? So far I have a box of paw patrol stickers and a few blank sheets of paper for him to stick them to, The magic coloring book where the pen only shows up on the paper. I've downloaded a couple episodes of mmch (but he rarely watches the tv/ipad for more than 2 minutes) and just lots of snacks. Is there anything else?!
@megaugust10, love the Santa picture!!!! maddisonrose, how does D feel about books? Maybe take a few you can read? Or a small toy car he can play with. I'm not much help since I've never flown with a toddler. I may suggest a sucker for take off and landing or a sippy cup. malvo, date night at home sounds like fun.
maddisonrose if you have a tablet or your phone. I have a lego deplo train game. E loves to play and they have little lego videos she likes to watch. I also have a baby phone app on my tablet that plays different nursery rhymes and she can hit animal sounds while the song is playing.
This morning has been a roller coaster. I cried a few times from the sweet cards and goodbyes from parents, a few surprised me with some amazing reference letters. And then I got into a fight with my bosses and cried over that (in my car), too. Ugh. So im on my lunch break now getting my shit together, no more crying! Im drained and i need a beer.
The allergist was... pretty good. I knew it would be hard with her being mostly hive free for about 5 days now. But I showed pictures and he definitely said they looked bad.
So we are going to start weaning her off her Zyrtec in the next week or so and see if the hives stay away. If they don't... we will start testing.
After getting into a fight with my bss earlier she ignored me the rest of the day and never even said bye to me. What a bitch, im glad im done with her. Ugh. Saying goodbye to all the families was so hard. Once they started crying, i couldnt stop myself from crying. Holy emotional roller coaster! The kids didnt really understand im leaving so they kept looking at their parents and me like "...uhhh, WTFs wrong with you guys. " LOL. And i just found out my bestfriends dads liver is shutting down from cancer. I cant stop crying. Im waiting for her to call me back. I called H crying because it never crossed my mind that with all the traveling I might miss the funeral. I cant not be there for her, my heart is breaking. Ugh ): please keep her family in your thoughts.
malvo she will eat when she is ready or Tylenol to get her comfortable to eat.
ruemorgan hugs for you. It is hard to leave the kids. When the daycare shut down that I worked at 1 lo who was almost 2 hugged a teacher and said I'm gonna miss you. We all lost it at that point. Thoughts for your friends family.
Last year for Christmas my mil gave us cash because we wanted to get the carpets cleaned. Here we are almost Christmas and never got the carpets cleaned. Tonight I ordered a carpet cleaner on amazon over 50% off with the money so we can clean our carpets ourselves and have 1/2 left over.
@megaugust10 We did Tylenol when we got home from DC. She perked up for about an hour and then crashed and burned again. No major symptoms other than minor congestion, not eating and being extremely whiny. She had milk, oranges and half a pouch (pears, green beans and Greek yogurt) for dinner. I don't know what to do with her anymore. I'm at a loss.
malvo e mainly had a little bag of chips and a few fries. She did eat some ketchup then had goldfish before bed. Gave her ham which she normally loves but didn't touch it tonight.

maddisonrose I think what you have for the flight is great! How long is the flight? What time are you flying? My kids did so much better than I ever imagined! They actually slept a lot!
Damn tapatalk app. Hit reply to a post by mistake and lost my tabs. Let's see... @meguagust10 I was looking at the house, but am now considering the castle. Ugh! Decisions...also. That picture! I die! Keep it foreverrrrr and take it out at all the (in)appropriate times! malvo f hasn't been eating well either. Maybe ears? Do they get more teeth around now?
