I'm excited to have some time to cook up a few things for her this weekend. Baby split pea soup, a jasimine rice pudding with apricot are on the menu. Also I will be making Babies Thanksgiving for her tobhave on turkey day. It has ground turkey purée ( her first meat) with a potato, cranberry purée thing going on. Kind of excited Oh and I hope to try regular oat meal this weekend. Not sure if I should chop up the oats before cooking or just go bold and see what she does with it normal. We did a textured rice and lentil purée last week and she did well but I did a quick spin in the food processor so it wasn't as chunky as it could be.

Sounds like your baby food making skills are on point!!
I'm also debating the oatmeal situation. Think I may grind it to powder first, then cook since we're just getting started. I may also try to freeze some and see how the consistency is thawed and reheated. I figure I can always add some BM to thin it back out. I'd rather make a bunch at once if possible.
annarose you're making me think I need the food processor attachment for my kitchenaid!
I didn't even know they made one for that - how cool. Do it! I've actually used the steamer pot and food processor more this time than the baby food specific all in one. I can make larger batches this way

Dinner was a bit of oatmeal mixed with a pear, pumpkin and banana purée. He's gumming on a teething wafer and I'm realizing his gag reflex is still way up his tongue.
