I have no idea what to get DD2. We have so much stuff. I think I'm going to get her a Berenguer doll and get DD1 a Doc McStuffins doll and my friend is going to make her a doll ring sling with fabric that matches my rs (and tula and kp).
DD1 will also probably get a play doh set and some books. Then they'll both probably get clothes.
txmommy14 after I posted about personalization mall I went and bought R his first ornament
I also just bought F a stupid plastic toy since target had that 30% off. He told me he wants the Thomas the train sky high bridge jump (he saw a commercial for it). I wasn't going to get it but I'll set it up Christmas Eve and say Santa got it. I'm a sucker for a sale and they only believe in Santa for so long right?
I really like Etsy for ornaments. I have gotten many an engagement or baby ornament there and I am already looking for one for DD! I have not looked at their stockings, but I bet they have some cute ones!
Let me know if you find a good vendor! I love Etsy, but find it a totally overwhelming time sink.

I'm trying really hard not to buy that, but I don't know if I can resist
I got a pottery barn stocking, fleece pjs, & a small my first Christmas toy, so far for my LO. I plan to get a 2016 ornament and a few other things. We have boxes of hand me down toys and apparatuses, so he doesn't "need" much. I suspect his grandparents will get him a lot. We'll see though. Idk if we're going to do the Santa thing. I mostly want to but his cousins don't...idk. Not that it matters this year. Still have a while to decide I suppose.

FWIW we don't do the Santa thing, but my niece and nephew do. I don't anticipate it being a big deal at all. My parents didn't do Santa with my sister and I and it was never an issue at all with our friends and cousins.

Growing up we did Santa but my cousins didn't do Santa or Christmas gifts. They were super religious and Santa took away from Jesus. Now, as adults they all do Santa and Christmas gifts with their families and say they feel like they missed out as kids. They weren't allowed to watch Disney movies either and have the whole collections for their kids.

I have used BERKLEYandBEAN and larkandjuniper. I think they have really pretty stuff!

We go to gymboree play and learn class, and there is a puppet they use there that he loves, so Santa is bringing him one of his very own. He lights up when he sees it so I'm excited for that.
I was going to give him Polar Express, but I want to read it leading up to Christmas so I probably won't wait. He will for sure get a book.
I may go overboard in the future, but for now he just isn't likely to be excited about much. I love Santa. There is no chance we aren't going all in on Santa.
Well I feel a bit like a Scrooge. Wasn't planning on getting DS2 anything except something really small because he has all the toys and clothes he will ever need from DS1. We asked my parents to put money in his college fund and I'm sure my ILs will go nuts with gifts.
Just scored this for $32 at a consignment store! He won't use it for a couple months I'm sure but I'm still super excited to wrap it up under the tree!
I wasn't going to get him much, but now I have. He really doesn't have many interactive toys. I bought him the Fisher Price crawl around car, a phone and remote, some blocks, the V tech move and crawl ball, and the Oball football and car. Whoops! My sister got him an activity table and that Beatbo thing. I am hoping MIL gets him the Vtech walker.
