Ooo yum! Those treats are making me look forward to DH's grandma's marshmallow/fudge stripe cookie pilgrim hats.
I'm currently under a napping baby and my toddler is sound asleep. I'm listening to the dishwasher my MIL loaded when she cleaned my kitchen this morning. Bless her! Once C wakes up we're going to the trampoline park with all the nephews and nieces for oldest nephew's 13th bday. We've never been and I'm glad we're going when I'm not pregnant.

How can I get those desserts in my mouth?! I'm craving sweets something fierce today.
Successful day so far. Got to the recycling center to drop off the obscene amount of cardboard we accumulated, then to the office where M was a complete angel, got home and took a walk, then handed off the babe to H once he got home and cleaned.
My aunt is coming over tonight and we're ordering Italian. I realize most days will not be successes like this so I'm going to enjoy it, especially after the rough week we had.
Oh man we drove an hour and a half to watch lunch with my cousin and his family and then drove home. Way down there was a dream, the way back was an adventure. A poop explosion in the driver seat, throw up in a car seat, and at least one kid crying all the way home. I am glad to be home!

This is my biggest fear every time we leave the house.
Thanks for reminding me that I used the last diaper in the diaper bag. That would have been a fun discovery.

Today is great so far. Kitchen is clean. Floors are swept and mopped. All laundry washed and put away. We did a couple errands earlier this morning and now DS, DH and the pup are all napping and I'm sitting in the recliner channel surfing. Later we're taking DS to get his hair cut and then out to dinner.

Yeah and my mom was convinced the 9hr drive (not including stops) for Christmas was a good idea. I am so glad we shot that idea down a long time ago.

aggiebug I'm not sure I can handle 9 hours in the car without baby. I remember when you brought that trip up months ago, so glad you won that one.
Although sentimental pregnant me decided to commit to a trip back home the second weekend of December so my nana and MIL can meet M while shes still squishy. It's five hours without traffic. I'm an idiot.

After a rough night, we had a pretty good day. Lilah and I hung out at home this morning while DH dud a 5k and Lillian spent time with my mom. Then we watched the Nebraska game. They won so yay. After the game we went to the park, took a walk, and then I got some pjs for Lilah at the consignment store. We had pizza and Angry Orchard cider for dinner. Omg...the cider was amazingly good. My first actual drink in 9 months. And we're watching the Harry Potter marathon that's on some channel we get. So a pretty great day all around.
It's only 6, but I feel ready for a hot shower and then bed. First hot chocolate, though.

sophiegrace I completely didn't realize we had run out of Lillian's size 4 diapers until we went to get her ready for bed two nights ago. Thankfully she still fits in 3s and someone gave us a box at my mom's club shower last month. That was a huge mom fail.

Happy weekend!
Lots accomplished today. Laundry, deep cleaned most of apartment, and even an Ikea trip for a new toy storage unit, blackout curtains, and other odds and ends. I'm wiped out, after 12 workdays in a row of sitting all day, I may have overdone it with activity.
aggiebug You are a trooper, no way I could do any trip in the car longer than 15 minutes lol.
I'm tired. We just ordered pizza and wings for dinner but I might pass out before it gets here. Im also watching the whole Real Housewives of OC current season - I specifically saved this for maternity leave and am so glad I did. My life needed some reality trash in it.
The days just fly by so fast... I remember running out for coffee and breakfast sandwiches this morning while H watched the napping babies. That's all I really recall.

Did you have Val's??? Very serious question.
We always have it when we go to Nebraska or when DH's parents have been recently and we visit them. I honestly only like the sausage pizza. I don't get the hype. But we live in Texas so no, not tonight.
ClassyMrsA sausage or hamburger is best. Has to be from Lincoln or it's not nearly as good as it should be.
Are you from Nebraska or your H?
DH's parents are from Lincoln. He was born there, but they moved when he was 6 weeks old. His entire extended family is still in Lincoln, though, so we go back about once a year.
Hello! ('Good evening' sounds too formal, and I'm already in my pjs...)
We had a nice day. Gorgeous weather, so DH took B out on some errands, and I took C and met my sister at an outdoor mall here for some shopping. I bought a new outfit for Thanksgiving and a few new tops; after going through my closet I realized I'm mostly ok on bottoms but need some new jeans, and tops that are easier to wear while nursing.
After shopping, we all assembled at my parents' for football and filet mignon (thanks, Dad!). And there was wine...I may have had a glass each of red and white.
Tonight is going to be an early night for all of us, I think we are all wiped out (hopefully C is, too!
I've been chillin in bed with a sleeping angel on my chest for the past hour and a half plus. DH was napping too but I finally woke him up a minute ago and sent him out to get us burritos for dinner. My hunger is FIERCE you guys. And food service at our hospital only runs from 7am-6pm, which is pretty short if you ask me.
It was a really nice day. DS was awesome when he met his little sister and was very excited about the new foam ball and bat set she got for him. He went home and spent several hours with DH while my mom hing out with me at the hospital and cuddled DD. She is the snuggliest, sweetest baby, I swear. So far she only cries if she's cold (like if you unswaddle her) or has to burp. I'm head over heels.

I'm currently taking advantage of some kid-free time since all the troubles are in bed; the baby is in the rock n play in the living room, and he's been squirming and grunting for a little while, so I think my me-time is coming to an end shortly. Today we went to Boston Market for lunch, and then kid 4 had a birthday party for a girl in her preschool class, so DH dropped us off (I wore kid 5) and then took the older three to a park. Now we're watching the Independence Day sequel even though I've heard nothing but bad things about it (H insisted he wanted to see it regardless), and I'm waiting for the dryer to finish so I can put the laundry away.
Tomorrow I'm going to try out my new pump in the morning (at least, that's the current plan), then go to Target (and hit up the Dunkin Donuts that's in the same complex), do something for lunch, take kid 2 to gymnastics, then skip ballet and take kid 2 to Chuck E Cheese for a classmate's birthday party. Then we'll come back home to watch the Eagles game and H will make steak for dinner.

I'm back home after being at my parents. It was weird to sleep in my old bedroom after 7 years but it was nice to have someone taking care of me and helping with C. My aunt also stayed the night and her and my mom woke up with him all night and let me sleep. I definitely needed it.
Tonight we also had birthday dinner for H so it's been busy. But tomorrow H is going to the Lions game and it'll just be me and C all day.
There's also been some good progress on our bathroom today! We're just about ready to put in the tile floor now.

Sounds like a nice visit! Had you not stayed in your old room in 7 years?
I go to my mom's a lot since it's 45 min away, and I hate to admit it but I always like staying there more when mh isn't there too. Granted it's just a full bed, so it's not comfortable with both of us, but it feels like home home if that makes any sense. Plus "my" side of that bed is now his side..so it's all out of whack when we stay there.

Haha no. They only live 20 minutes away so I haven't stayed there since I got married. It's not even my same bedroom set or anything, just the room itself. My mom has been wanting me to stay the night since C was born so I finally did yesterday since H was going to be working on the bathroom early. It worked out nice.
Sounds like everyone is doing this weekending thing right!
We had a chill day. I had my mom take O to the park and H and I had some quiet time with E. And this afternoon O had a birthday party at a classmates house. I wore E and she slept the entire time ! It was perfect.
Time to crawl back into bed. Let's see how long this next stretch goes.
We are on roughly a 1-1.5 hr schedule tonight. Not great, but better than last night. Currently waiting for her to fall back to sleep enough to go back in the pnp.
I hate when I suddenly remember real life in a dream. Like, I'm going along, having some kind of random adventure, and then suddenly remember my life. It's particularly bad if I hook up with someone. So much guilt and fear.

Oh I hope you can start getting better stretches. That's rough. C is in his RnP right now too trying to get back to sleep.
It sounds like you had a juicy dream lol. Anything worth sharing?

Not really. It was just odd. Like verging on a nightmare (scary giant dark house making odd noises) and then turned into lots of sex with one of my hs ex-bfs (as an adult now). But then I was like omg I just had a baby and I'm not on bc yet. And I'm not supposed to have sex and I have a zillion stitches. Oh and I'm married already. Stupid brain.

A daily shower has been my saving grace. Makes me feel also human again.
O slept for 3 hours straight last night! I'm so happy (still exhausted but happy I got that chunk of sleep.) I almost let him sleep in the rnp but I'm trying really hard to follow the guidelines and do pnp only at night and rnp for supervised naps.

I went almost a week without washing my hair last week. Luckily I've been working it for a while to let it go longer stretches without washing. But I try to jump in the shower every day or two to wash everything else.
Morning! We're being lazy here. Not sure what is on the agenda today, other than football-watching and hopefully getting in a nap. C spent the first half of the night cluster-feeding, but thankfully slept the second half, and is now napping in the swing.
I do need to make my grocery list for this week--while I'm not hosting Thanksgiving dinner, I am making a couple dishes to take to my parents' on Thursday, plus I guess I'll need to feed my ILs who arrive on Wednesday, and us for the rest of the week.
Morning. I am sleepy sleepy. We have a friend coming over to visit date church this morning and then hopefully naps for all this afternoon. DD has a cold and based on our video monitor doesn't seem like she really slept at all last night yay $sarcasm font$.
