Happy Thanksgiving!
We're just going down for nap 2 today. Turkey should be done in about 2 hours so that should well timed. I'm going to finish clearing the table and work on my planner for a little bit.

In other ransoms, now that we are past a year, does anyone have any blankets in the crib? DD keeps waking at 4ish and trouble falling back asleep. I'm wondering if having a warm blanket would help but wasn't sure when it's ok to have anything with them.
Also, I think we are officially over purees so I need ideas for what to leave for the nanny to give her for lunch!!
I have let L sleep with a blanket since he was 2-3 months. He also sleeps with a teddy bear.
Does anyone recommend a good vacation spot for families that has nice weather in January? We went to Hawaii and Costa Rica in recent years and we really enjoyed both, but we would like something different. We like something that has a little more to offer than just a beach (wildlife viewing, cultural experiences).

I need to step away from the laptop. Too much shopping. I said the kids were done and then I did more. Much more. I told my parents to just give us money and I'll put their name on stuff I got the kids because it's terrible. Why do I just toss money at them and I've been wearing like the same 10 shirts forever? 3 kids will bankrupt me. Gotta reel it in!!!

I have told myself a few times that I am done with the girls. Yet I went out black Friday shopping and managed to buy more.

Also C just threw a legit tantrum while getting ready for bed. Screaming- red faced, rolling away, kicking etc while trying to get him into his Jammies. If he's like this now, I can't even imagine when he really in the thick of his toddler years. Hold me.

DD2 does this all the time. She does not handle failure or rejection well. Even her learning to crawl was an ordeal because if she face planted she'd throw a fit and refuse to try again all day. DD1 has NEVER thrown herself to the floor, kicking and screaming, none of that. I have no idea where they learn these things so young. She'll scream and hit her older sister for toys, throw herself to the floor if I refuse to pick her up. It's so frustrating. I thought DD1s threenage year was tough with the sass. I am not prepared for DD2's.
