Feeling sick of feeling sick but otherwise good. We have another ultrasound on Wednesday to confirm last weeks finding (two heartbeats )...more blood work to follow. I will be thrilled when we are released to our OB.
Have a great Holiday everyone! Happy early Turkey Day:)

I'm officially in my 2nd trimester (13+3 today)... Woohooo!!! I'm so excited to tell extended family our big news this week at Thanksgiving so then after we can tell whoever! Though I've definitely started telling more people lol. I'm still waiting for the magical second trimester energy boost that's supposed to happen.

Had another Dr's appointment today. All was good. She measured my belly and asked how tall our donor was.. 6'0! lol Guessing I might be measuring bigger for going on 19 weeks. Eek! I also brought up my concern about the weight gain. I have now been told she wants me to do my best at staying the same for the rest of the pregnancy. I've already put on 25lbs... but its because I am loving carbs right now.. so bad! So carbs have to be cut and I've been told to eat less fruit. Also no junk food... NOOOOOOOO!!!!! 😞 Ah well, it will be best for me and baby in the long run.

dannigirl omg you are going through exactly what I'm worried about! I'm freaking right now that I might already be showing and have gained like 10 pounds... but I'm super short and our donor was also super tall so both of those could explain why I might already be showing. GL watching what you eat!

Hey everyone! I am doing okay, starting to feel more and more like myself every day. I have a follow up with my family practice doctor to see about a referral to a pulmonoligist (sp) so we can see why I get pneumonia every year.
Pregnancy wise I am officially in the 3rd Tri! 27'weeks today. So crazy to even process, I just can't believe it. I am starting to feel very pregnant. 8'can tell my posture is changing and my belly is sticking out more which is pulling on my back and causing some pains. The baby kicks nonstop now, it is going from cute and playful to painful rather quickly.
My baby shower is next weekend and I am really excited about that. I am hoping it goes well, and my sister do a nice job. I'm sure they will. It I am such a planner I've had a hard time letting it go. We have 65+ people attending and not much purchased from our registry. I really hope they don't go rogue,I do not want to return a bunch of stuff. I know that sounds ungrateful and mean but it's true.

Friday we go for our next ultrasound. Going on 20 weeks Wednesday. Yay! Waiting on my last blood test results for spina bifida. I'm worried, because of the past, but not at the same time. I'm pretty sure this little guy is healthy. He sure was active this morning, and I could actually feel him move when I had my hands on my belly! Just wish Jo could have felt it, she came in and he stopped kicking. She'll get her chance. I'm sneezing like a crazy woman too! And it's almost always a double sneeze. Ugh!!! Just happy I haven't gotten a cold...
I guess I go here now. Today is out third beta, I'm in the waiting room now. I'm so nervous. IF really messes with you! I don't think I'll stop worrying until this kid, or kids, are birthed.

So happy to have you with us Judy!!! 😍 The worrying never stops.
This kid has been moving non stop lately, it's just kick, kick, kick, and then a punch! The baby shower is this weekend, I can't believe it. The baby is due in 12 weeks..... or three months, or 87 days. Which could realistically be 10 weeks, 73 days, and 2.5 months! We have so much to do!! Julie has been sick this weekend, so I have been busy Lysol spraying everything, wiping down light switches and door knobs! I need all the illness to leave my house!
Well beta came back at 711. Holy smokes I'm really pregnant. I have one more beta on Wednesday and then we may do an ultrasound Friday or next Monday. Can't wait to see if we have 1 or 2 cooking in there!

Fantastic news! When my first two were low, I declined the third. To this day I am still curious what it would have been! I hope the next 10 months goes very smoothly for you, it's flies by!

So we had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday. It was a great day, and a sad day as I attended the memorial for our fighter pilot who died in a crash during training. I knew him as he was training with my old unit back in 2014, so it wasn't a good morning. But then I went to the ultrasound and it was great. Got to see our little guy, and the girl took a lot of pictures, like 30! We have pics of his arms, legs, feet! He wasn't being very corporative, so we didn't really get a good profile, but that's okay. Also found out Friday that the spina bifida tests were negative. Yay! Jo is going to be leaving either Monday or Tuesday for Ontario. She is a part of the pilots funeral party, so she has his service on Wednesday and possibly Ottawa on Thursday. Not sure yet. So she could be gone all week. Which I am not complaining about. It's an honour to be a part of the honour guard or funeral party for a fallen soldier. Anyway.. that's where I'm at this week.. it's been a rather emotional one. Side, happy note.. here's our boy!
