I think this is the 9 month growth spurt. LO is nursing like a newborn and pounding applesauce, avocado and banana. I tried to give her some oatmeal this AM but when she finally got a good sized bit in her mouth she freaked out. I feel like I'm out of milk, which I'm sure isn't true, but all the water and oatmeal today
Mine hardly wants to nurse. She's all about solids now and much prefers that to me. That's how the boys were too.... I feel like my supply is tanking. My boobs never feel full anymore :/
E eats a ton too in solids. She nurses often (every 2-3 hours during the day) but is done within a couple minutes except in the motn and sometimes at bedtime. I'm not really sure about my supply though. I never feel full, but have pretty much always been like that except for when she started dropping motn feeds. Are you sure it's not just regulating well?

I think it's possible, it's just hard to tell. I have no idea if she's gaining weight at this point. I guess I'll find out at her appointment mid December. She only nurses 5 times a day. Sometimes only for 5 minutes, other times (before sleeping) it's close to 20 minutes. I'm sure it's fine, but I get anxiety about this stuff.

My days are so much easier and better when I don't have to watch my nephew. I'm getting so sick of refereeing the boys as they fight over every single thing in the world. I hate that I don't enjoy watching my nephew any more. I don't want to feel like that. I keep hoping everyone will grow out of it a tiny bit, but it's not happening.

What would you say is a ton? Ethan would keep eating forever if I kept pulling out more food. He's overeaten before with formula and he gives himself a tummy ache. How do you know when enough is enough? Or, do you just keep going until she refuses?

Hi ladies! I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for all of you, and the advice, support, and laughs. May the celebration go smoothly, and may the food and beverages be plentiful!

I do all blw really so I eventually just don't offer more. Today was Breakfast yogurt & berries Lunch an egg and 2 pancakes Snack peaches Dinner chili
Yesterday Cheerios and berries A grilled cheese Crackers Egg and pancakes
I feel like she'd go forever if I let her. She could eat a whole banana on top of a meal if I let her. Apparently you can't overfeed a baby according to my doctor, but if I think she's had a lot I just don't give more. At some meals she can eat the same, or close to the same as my 4 year old.... And she eats a lot too.

So E nurses 5 times a day most days, then twice at night. I'm pretty sure that's about average for their age. Plus they get super efficient at emptying the breast. I hear you though some days I think she can't possibly be getting enough breast milk, but she isn't complaining so she must be ok.

I am in the same-ish boat, but its my two sons. I just miss the days when they used to get along. Wah!

I'm worried that as soon as the boys outgrow this horrible fighting, my kids will start fighting with each other. Or they will just all fight with each other. Although I hope when they're both mine it'll be easier. I can deal with my own kids easier than with my crazy ex-sil's kid.

Wow that's awesome! Did she ever gag? My LO gags when I don't mash up the avocado enough!

She did quite a bit when we started. Still does sometimes. Mainly on vegetables that aren't soft enough. Now she might, she spits whatever it is out and then puts it back in lol. Last night she had chili and did that a couple times with the sausage in it.
J isn't eating well. He ff now and I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 ounces in him every 3-4 hours. He used to eat 5 ounces every 3 hours like clockwork. He's more into solids now, but I don't think it's enough to make up for the formula he isn't eating.
One of my cousins was teasing me about having another baby soon last night, so I was like ha I'm not even fertile yet... so of course I got my first PP period last night. I suppose I can't really complain, LO is almost 9 months, that's a pretty good run.

I've been waiting for mine to come. I got my first one after 5 months with DS2, so I don't know how I'm lasting this long this time.

The last couple of days I've started thinking the same thing. It makes me sad.

E is taking forever to finish his bottles now. I think his mouth hurts bc his gums are sooo swollen. Could J be teething?

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!
Going to bitch for a sec: We spent last night in the ER because Keira got an ear infection and woke up screaming her head off at midnight. We didn't get home until 5:30am. Thank god my mom was here so she could watch LO while mh and I slept. In the midst of all this my cold took a turn for the worse and I have laryngitis and can barely speak. Now MH is all pissy because we were supposed to go to his work buddy's housewarming tonight and I told him im not up to it because a. Our kid is really sick. B. Im functioning on little sleep c. Im also sick and have no voice and d. My mother has been pretty much watching lo all day and I don't think its right to just leave her with our sick kid. I dont usually bitch about mh on here but omfgwtfbbq stop acting like a baby and realize this is life. At least he gets to chill all day while I make food for his family's thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
End rant. Thanks for listening. *pics of booze and chocolate go here*

He could be. His top gum is swollen. We also ran out of zantac and his doctor is being a pain about refilling it. It's hard to know what's going on. He's only taking about half as much formula as he used to though.

We went to our new house to check out some of her furniture she's selling and brought E with us. They have a cat and she lost her mind. Whining and squealing to be put down so she could see it. It cracked me up.
Our house is sold as long as they are happy with the home inspection Monday. Which is scheduled for a horrible time (afternoon nap time) so I'm hoping it doesn't take hours and hours.

If all goes well we move December 10th.
Congratulations!!! Did the swap go through or is this a different set of buyers?

Different buyers and he's kind of a pain in the ass. English is his second language, and I guess he doesn't speak it well. He travels for work and keeps taking off when he's supposed to be signing paperwork. He doesn't understand there are times lines that need to be met, so we keep having to extend things for him.

Can your realtor put his foot down for you? I know there are things they can do to get you compensated for the issues.
I got motion sickness on the way to see my family yesterday (this never happens when I'm not pg). Then I felt better after I ate but shortly afterwards felt sick to my stomach again, which is how I felt in all my PGs.
The odds are strongly against it...I'm on bcp & we've barely been having sex. Idk why I'm even writing this. AF is due Tuesday, & I can go back to not being a lunatic.

I'm sure in regular circumstances he could. Unfortunately we've had little interest in our house, so had to actually go to this guy and be like ok put in your offer and we'll take it (it was lower than we wanted). So we have to be more flexible with the bs or we'd end up not selling and carrying 2 mortgages. Thankfully after tomorrow's home inspection this should be all done.

So, I know Ethan is like 3 weeks behind a lot of your LOs but leap 6 is KILLING me. He's a high needs kiddo as it is, but he is literally whining 24/7 right now. OMG. Anybody done with leap 6 that can give me encouragement? hahha
