vavavictoria and others that asked about different brands of wraps... I don't know that many but from my research Girasol, Didymos, Lenny Lamb all start at lower price points. There are many many more. I'd join your local Facebook babywearing group and see what others have, what's for sale. I'm more drawn to specific prints not so much the brand.
hikingmama222 I'm still not ready to back wrap him. My friend is a VBE and she made me too nervous with horror stories. Once he has total head control I will.

Clothing question--how do/would you dress LO for an outdoor outing that will be an hour or more and temps maybe around 50F? I don't have a Babywearing coat and I think my larger coat would be too hot. Baby and I are both heat sweaters.

I'd put LO in a fleece lined sleeper with hood. Carters has good ones right now. This is DS in his. Shoes/boots that cover his ankles (I use Padraigs). Little toque (giveaway I'm Canadian;)) and mitts. Just keep checking on LO's temp.
Is this a baby wearing coat? I'm still not sure what to do when it's ridiculously cold here soon. My coat is definitely not big enough to add a baby in the front.
Nope it's my regular coat. Top button doesn't do up but it worked surprisingly well. Might not when he gets a bit bigger though. I'm still trying to decide what to do once this option doesn't work anymore.

Good to know. My ski jacket would probably work, but it's not dressy.
As a side note, we have the bear hat in pink.
I love the hat! It's 0-3 and still too big. I have to fold it over.
I finally tried the Moby with G. So far so good! He seems secure and happy. Does he look okay? This is my first foray in babywearing and I want to be sure he looks okay.
I thought I'd be wearing LO a lot more around the house, but I'm finding it real hard to sit on the floor, or sit anywhere really, to play with DD1. LO fusses when I try to sit. Am I doing something wrong?

Nope. Same thing happens with DS. I have to keep moving. So I do chores, or set DD up at the counter or table and stand to do an activity with her while bouncing and swaying.

I'll definitely try to get some counter activity ideas going. Any favorites?

Play doh, coloring, painting, puzzles, crafts, baking (obviously a little messy but DD loves to help measure stuff and mix ingredients) I know my DD is a little older so some of these ideas are probably easier with her.

Got DS to settle in the Solly briefly today for a nap. He had to be convinced though, he wanted to be looking outward. Can't wait for better neck control.
