I am glad your trip mostly went well @led.
My husband finally broke down and bought new jeans a few weeks ago because he gained weight since the triplets were born. The stress eating and caffeine consumption is real for dad's too.

Today we got an email that DS is in a Christmas program at daycare that we're expected to attend. At least this explains why he's been going around singing "Jingle Bells".
We found out Tuesday. Also, DD's song is Deck the Halls.
It starts at DS's bedtime. Which is nice, since they planned it so that most parents can attend, but still a late night.

The program starts at 5:30, which is when they close. We don't have to pick them up and bring them back.
Btw the editted avatar is even creepier than the original.
Does anyone know how to get a baby to sleep in? Ridley very quickly got on an Eastern time zone schedule despite my attempts to avoid it, but now that we're home that means she's getting up at 4a. What can I do? This is killing me.
You guys, I'm finally in my way home!!!! We're about 3hrs from Chicago, our flight leaves at 5p. I cannot wait. I am so ready to be home and not be a solo parent anymore. Two weeks was way too long. I miss Blake so much. Ah! Only a few more hours!!!
So what did I miss? Besides everyone abandoning us for FB. Any threads I need to make sure to read? I've been without internet for two weeks now and I feel so out of the loop!

Ouch! The only thing I can think of is try to keep her in a dark and quiet environment until "wake up time" just so she associates 4 am with night time... Idk if that will actually help though but I know that's what a friend did with dY/night confusion

That's sort of what we're trying. Not turning the living room light on until 7a, but she's still up playing in the dark at 4a. Though I'm secretly hoping feeling gross after the shots helps. This morning she was only up for about 15 minutes at 4 before coming back to bed. But she was soaked in sweat and running a fever, so after blake held her in the shower for a while to calm her down she came back to bed and fell asleep until 6ish. Hopefully once she's feeling better she still doesn't want to stay up at 4a. But I also think she is realizing it's early because after coming back to bed she has been sleeping for about 90 minutes, which she only used to do if she got up early. So I'm hopeful. But oh man is it killing me!
I'm so incredibly board right now. H is out trying to convince one of his friends to not lose his shit over possible gf issues and I'm stuck in bed being hyper and trying to get Ridley to sleep for more than ten minutes.
Ugh. Where is everyone? Not even just this board, but the whole forum seems slow today.

I thought so too and was trying to think. I guess everyone's busy prepping for the holidays?
