This morning I packed C's last sippy cup of breast milk! That's it - my stash is all gone. It's another "last time" but I feel proud that I was able to stop pumping as of the last week in Oct and had enough frozen milk for his DC bottles/sippies to get him through the last week in Nov.
Also I got a ton of shopping done yesterday for Black Friday. Anyone else?
Oh my shopaholic friend!
Just a boom stick for Cody. I have to go pick it up in store since you can't order that kind of stuff online so I'll do that in a couple weeks when I'm in DE anyway

I think I'm going to spend the next 4-6 months weaning from the pump. We still have a lot of stash but with guard coming up, I think we'll use a fair amount of it. We need to start rotating though. Once guard season is over, I'd like to put away the pump for the most part. I plan on going while she wants to. I'm extremely proud of making it a whole year despite biting and the months of nursing strikes. Yay!

1 tooth cut, 3-5 more to go. I really need these suckers to come in so we can sleep train again. We have taken to cosleeping in the guest room when she wakes crying at 4-5. It's not helping my exhaustion.

My little one must be teething hardcore, she was up from 230 until 445.....this is VERY rare and this mommy is exhausted. On another note, I dropped her off at my moms house and she saw a Christmas tree for the first time this year......we are in trouble.
Ok need help, I live in a ranch and am moving into a 2 story on the 8th. I have never needed a baby gate for stairs top and bottom. Recommend your gates PLEASE!

Little miss is on the move! She took her first steps about a week ago but it looked like a fluke stumble from standing which she was already doing. Then she just walked right across the kitchen on Wednesday and I got some of it on camera for DH since he was away. Then I couldn't get her to do it again until this weekend. Now she loves to try but will give up and crawl if it takes too long to get somewhere. We did her 1st birthday pics Sunday and I can't wait to see the edits; the proofs were precious.
I have my midwife appointment tomorrow, unpacking is still a tediously slow process, same old. I need to get back into a real routine, I'm feeling bad for my kids being stuck in this house while it rains and I unpack boxes.

I did a good amount of black friday shopping. I got DH and dad's presents, some clothes for E and maybe some stuff for myself. I ordered my present from my parents on cyber monday.
I'm so sick of these crutches and this cast. Tomorrow I go back to the doc and I'm praying this cast will come off! I'm miserable and I have no problems letting anyone know it. In other news, I think I've stopped pumping. It's a pain in the ass to get to the bathroom at work with my crutches. so I've cut down my water intake and my boobs just don't feel full enough for the effort it'll take to pump. I'm free and not sad about it! Still nursing night and morning.
We have been house hunting. We are trying to find a place where we feel we would be happy for a long time. It's so hard to find the right place in the right neighbourbood for the right price. We found a beautiful home and the location is great for us both for commuting plus there are a lot of restaurants, parks and a community centre with a skating rink and outdoor pool close by...but the school in the neighbourhood isn't ranked very high.

MH just booked a trip for me and him to Barbados this Feb! I am excited but I am having all the thoughts about how am I going to handle being away from the littles that long!! I have never had a night away from C. He is going to go bonkers. You all know he is big time high maintenance and a snuggler.
Also I got a ton of shopping done yesterday for Black Friday. Anyone else?

I need to call it a wrap on the shopping at least for gifts for myself and for mh. Now that we have this trip coming up, I don't want to be spending all willy-nilly.
I hope you can get that cast off littleowl913! That much be such a pain and especially w yucky weather coming up.
littleredfish, you think you will have a nursery up and running before #3 arrives? Also, remind me -what is the sex or were you Team Green?
No way. Too much going on and there are terrible built in shelf things in there and a huge ugly mirror attached to the wall. They baby will be in our room anyway for a while so we have at least a year to figure that out. Makes me sad because I know what I want to do but there are so many other things to do.
Team green! No girl names though. Dd2 wasn't named until after she was born. Why are names so hard!?!
So my Christmas present from MH is a new phone. We were updating our cell phone plan today and it was brought to our attention that installments on the new phone started. Plus he ordered two and was trying to rationalize keeping them both because he felt bad. But he needs a dependable work phone so. He's never used Apple though so he's nervous. It's an iPhone 6S. Squee!
We're picking up one of the phones tonight, going to the car dealer for an "orientation" on my car where they give me a $50 Wawa GC, then running to the other store for the other phone (separate stock from separate stores) and getting dinner. We grabbed CFA for Emma since she'll be hungry now though.

I'm jealous. Who is watching your kids? I think just the first night is tough and he will be good.

Have you been before? We went for our honeymoon and loved it! Absolutely beautiful! We even saw Rihanna just hanging out.

My ILs. They will spoil the hell out of them, so it's like the kiddies get their own little vaca.

Take the Malibu Rum tour if it's still open. You get to take a tour of the plant, taste test rum and relax on the private beach and use jet skis. There is also a Mt Gay Rum Tour but I'm not a fan of that rum.
Do a catamaran! We did one and swam with turtles. They are all pretty decent but I can look up the specific one we did.
Take the bus to the downtown area. They have a great market place with homemade goods. Unfortunately Barbados is super low income for the most part so the downtown is also flooded with people asking for money or drugs.
The beaches are public even at the resorts. When we went locals would walk up and offer to see necklaces they made and then try to sell drugs. They usually take the first no and don't pester you.
If you are there on a Friday you have to go to Ostins Fish Fry. Locals set up mini restaurants on the beach and sell freshly fried local fish. They also play live music, sell homemade goods and local beer. We bought some beautiful wood carvings and artwork from there.
Check out St Lawrence Gap. It's where the clubs and restaurants are. We went mid October and it was pretty quiet. We went to a fantastic restaurant right on the water there. Pisces maybe? I can look it up.
Aside from Aruba, I've never been to a nicer island. I would lllooovvveee to go back.
We stayed at Bougainvillea in Christ Church. Where are you staying?

I slept like shit last night and DD woke at 3:30. I'm home today and all I want is her first nap so I can lay down too. Instead she is still partying and I'm sitting in the chair nauseous. Ugggggg

Cast is off! Doc said my foot didn't even smell bad, which I take as a compliment lol. I'm in a boot but I got to bathe myself for the first time in 3 weeks.
E slept terrible last night. Woke up at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 3 and 5 am. Momma no good today...
Some of my co-workers were getting together for dinner and some drinks last night. I decided to go because I haven't been out in ages. And now that DS is older, I can get away more easily.
Anyway, I ordered one drink and couldn't even finish it and I feel all bloated and gross today from eating the pub food. Lol, I guess I'm old and no fun anymore.

I've reached the point in pregnancy of when in doubt, I should go pee. I got a call from my midwife that my iron is super low. She said that's normal since I'm having babies really close together and it can take 2 years to fully replenish. That said, did any of you ladies have to do iron supplementing? What did you take? She said the pills can cause stomach issues and I have to take it with vitamin C? Cause I'm not already taking a bazillion pills with all of the extra vitamin D I need because of all the rain here.
