mrscatfarmer13, will you get an ultrasound? At my 8wk appointment, my doctor said it was too soon to hear the HB on doppler, but we could (barely) see it on ultrasound.

I don't think so, at least not tomorrow. With M we heard a hb on the doppler at 7wks, and I'm pretty sure that had us schedule a separate appt for a dating u/s the next week or so.
Yes, I'm considered high risk now and my midwife practice only sees low risk patients.
Matters are going to get more complicated because I will be transferring to another new OB when we move cross country in the next few months. Sigh.
Moving cross country?!?! Did I know about this? Where will you be going?
We are moving back to my hometown. We can't afford 3 in daycare in this HCOL area and we will need the support of my family with three kids. Now, if only we can find MH a job...
I'm really hoping to be able to keep my job and telecommute.

I wonder if it would help to have the doc take super good notes so everything transfers smoothly. The doc might roll their eyes if you ask that but it could make a difference. That way you wouldn't necessarily have to repeat everything? Or maybe call the new place and ask if they need different testing or something you could take care of now? I may be making this more complicated but it wouldn't hurt to bring it up...
IT'S FINALLY MY APPOINTMENT WEEK! 10 weeks is way to long to wait! Especially since I found out 9 dpo. It's been FOREVER! (Sorry for all the caps. I'm excited and I start my vacation right after my appointment so I'm double excited over here!)
Back from my U/S appointment. Everything looked great, it looked like a gummy bear lounging on a hammock, wiggling around a bit. Measured within 2 days of what I expected based on O date. So my due date is moving from the 7th to 9th. I'm a little bummed just because 7/7/17 is fun.

I was able to get an early ultrasound today since I had a CP two months ago and my doctor knows I'm nervous. I'm just at 7 weeks tomorrow. Everything looked good!! HB was 122. Feels real now....
Hearing nt scan makes me realize how early I still am 😩 mine won't be till mid January!
It's hard being the caboose of the month. I've been there and it's hard to see everyone so far ahead, especially at the end! Your turn will come though and quicker than you think.

Lol caboose. But it's so true. I squeezed in here by a hair. I'd be lying if I said I haven't lurked on aug for people's symptoms due that first week lol.

rosey06 I'm right there with you bringing up the end. I've lurked August a bit too, but there isn't many players ATM and I don't want to seem weirder than I already am.
ker9171 wonderful news! I'm glad you were able to get an u/s to help ease anxiety.
I'm due July 1 and seem so far ahead-and am anticipating delivering early because my other two were 7 & 9 days early. If I jumped to June though I would be part of the caboose there!
Lol mrscatfarmer13 atleast I'm not the only creeper! It is still quiet there.
megeliz1 kinda similar. I'm 7/31 per my chart. The doc could obviously push me back some if she wants.. which puts me in August. I debated between the 2 boards but I want a repeat csection so I'd still be in July, so I planted myself here.

Well my bw this morning turned into an office visit with my OB to discuss "what's going on". He asked if I wanted another US and I said yes. I just wanted to know whether it was a BO or not since the sac was measuring ahead. We saw a tiny pole measuring 6 weeks and a little flicker!! So the baby is measuring a few days small and sac about a week large. He said that isn't necessary something bad and I should be happy because the risk of MC goes down significantly seeing the HB. We still have my original 8 week next week. I'm in shock again because I was really bracing for bad news. Yay!! It's starting to feel real.
