Hugs to all sick babies and mamas!! So many stuffed up kiddos and fevers lately. Damn cold season. All the wine, coffee, and baby snuggles to everyone.
So my mom did fine. Obviously she was a little tired/groggy but otherwise fine. When we were getting ready to leave and they were giving us the discharge instructions one of us said we were going to go get some soup because they were saying she should eat, and GASP it was like oh no you can't do that, you need to go straight home. They were appalled that we would possibly go anywhere, the nurse said she could fall over and hit her head. I understand the anesthesia affects people differently but it was quite dramatic. They even said someone needs to sit at her house with her until bed time tonight to ensure she was ok. !
We do "shock treatments" where I work and they are under general anesthesia. One of the instructions before they go is that they have someone with them for 24hrs.
