Does your DC work on this with him? Mine is already moving to open cups! TBH, I'm a little worried about him getting enough to drink bc it just seems like it would be a big mess. Have you tried straw cups?
Yes, the nanny has worked with him on sippy cups for a while, and he loves to drink water out of straws and the 360. He just totally refuses them when it is milk instead of water.
Have you tried 2% or 1%? Liam did that so i gave him the lower percentages until he got used to it then bumped him up to whole milk when we fully got rid of the bottle.
yummeecookee I say I couldn't do CIO BUT if this keeps going I am going to have to, no other choice I can't sleep with her and she is not getting held and rocked all night lol

No, I haven't. He drinks WCM fine out of the bottle though, so do you think that could make a difference?
Maybe. Liam was the same way though. I think he just didn't like the thickness at first.

How quickly did you guys transition to WCM only? I've started adding 1 oz to each of her bottles and she is fine. Then I bumped up to 1.5. I know I'm slow on starting the transition but am I also going at a snails pace? Do your kids all take a bottle or cup of WCM now? Cold or warm?

I started by giving it to him at meals. So I didn't mix at all. I used cold.
the incisors on the top? Second ones in? DD got one in last week, and the other is starting to look white. This is before her middle tip teeth so she has fangs.....literal vampire!

I started by putting it in a bottle and she had no issues taking it. She now takes it in a cup 1 -2 times a day. I am not worried about if she takes it or not. My first hated and refused milk and still refuses milk but the ped said as long as they are getting the calcium from healthy food she didn't worry.
I say do it at your own pace : )
Oh and I just poured it in cold. She prefers ice water so I knew a cold milk would be fine.

ldubhawksfan- we just gave him WCM to see if he'd like it and he drank it, no issue. So for a while I was still sending BM to DC and then giving WCM at home w dinner. Now that my freezer stash is gone, he gets WCM at DC too (they provide it).

I was just about dead w his 3-4 wake ups a night. Desperate times...... Hopefully she'll go back to normal for you.
Work is insane right now. The kids are so whiny about everything and it's driving us all nuts. Entire grades have shut down mentally. A more mature sophomore told me today that they are just done with their entire class, that they don't understand why these kids don't want to learn. Indeed.
I had two students put on long-term suspension for an incident involving a "drug deal" where the boy sold "adderall" (Benadryl) to two girls. Yup, he duped them. But the intent was there, so...six weeks automatic suspension for all. Idiot move. So now those two students (the third is not mine) aren't going to be around for a final that has to be completed on the computers in my lab because of the program there. Or the principal said I could just freeze their grades, and that I shouldn't make it harder on me trying to figure out how to get their final done when they're suspended. I think I'm going to take that offer.
Otherwise, E is clingy af and I'm worn out by life.
Hugs to all the ladies having stressful times right now. I hope we can all get the chance to put our feet up and sip a glass of wine by the fireplace soon.

I started wrapping Christmas presents today and for once I feel somewhat on top of it. Most of the Christmas cards went our yesterday, I just need to finish up the rest and hopefully get them out by the weekend.
My toddler has been testing me for a week how and I'm over it. She has developed such an attitude and has started screaming at us when she is angry. She's throwing things when she doesn't get her way and hitting on occasion. I miss my sweet little girl, I'm stressed.

Dog started barking at the neighbor's landscapers just now while DD is down for a nap. I ran out so fast, but I'm out of breath now! lol I forgot how short of breath I get on these blood thinners. I thought she kept sleeping but I just heard a cry. Wahhhhhhhhhh

Went and took our Santa pic at the mall today. DD2 didn't cry, she doesn't look impressed in the pic but of course she started smiling at Santa as we were picking our prints.
On a *not this BMB* related note, I'm 30 weeks today. I know, right!?! I celebrated with the start of shooting, sharp pains in my left side of my vagina. So far no stomach effects from the iron, so that's a plus!

So DS is a little on the small side and we are a vegetarian family so the doctor wanted to get some blood work done to check his iron and B12 levels. I've been worried about it. He is not anaemic! Yay! But his iron levels are on the lower side, so we are going to work on the iron-rich foods.
I've actually felt a little overwhelmed with what to feed DS. I'm scared of giving him too much sodium, too much sugar, not enough vitamins etc. It was much easier when breastmilk was enough! DS is actually a pretty good eater and I'm wondering if I haven't been feeding him enough. I'm thinking of seeing a dietitian because it looks like our benefits will cover it.

Yeah I feel like you just announced not to long ago!

Yup! Legit, terrified. All I keep thinking about is what if there had been a smaller gap between my first 2 like I originally wanted. Like 3 under 3 or 3 under 4. Mayhem.
