Suddenly LO wants me to stay with him when he goes to sleep...and he wants a bottle again at night...not sure if this is some sort of regression or phase or teething related or what.
We played hide and seek in his gym class the other day. LO walked to middle of the room, called me a few times, spotted me, pointed and laughed, then ran to a little girl who was standing still and asked,"Where's your mommy? Find mommy!"
Eh. Been battling a cold for weeks and yesterday was CD 1. 😟
Really had hoped to be pregnant before my 40th which is next month...one last cycle. This makes 4th cycle NTNP (although I am very aware where I am in the cycle...), so while not long in grand scheme of things, that impending Birthday makes me feel frantic.

@enchanted - I hope this week was an easier one. Sounds like the kids are keeping you on your toes! And the forehead kiss thing is precious.
eliz77 - {{hugs}} NTNP is so hard. FX this your cycle.
Age: 3.5
Milestones: She's finally mastered riding her tricycle, turning, etc. This took her a LOT longer than we thought it would. She has a real fear of falling off and hurting herself. Now on to a balance bike.
Challenges: Typical three stuff, mainly her mouth. She heard someone call another person 'stupid' and now everything is stupid ("Look at this stupid plate", "this stupid shoe", "this stupid TV"). I hate it. We've been correcting her, but she's not really getting it.
Funny/cute stories: MH was in the bathroom and she asked him if he pooped. He said no, so she asked if he peed. He said yes and she yelled, "Yay, Daddy! You get a prize! Want a toy or candy?" Apparently using the potty is still a very big deal in our house LOL
How are you? Ready for Christmas already. I'm exhausted from the holidays and all the travel we're doing. And pretty annoyed that my family and ILs aren't making more of an effort to help us out/be considerate.
I've been having a lot of pain and aches from doing too much. I called out of work Tuesday to get some R&R and spent the entire day on my feet Christmas shopping with MH. Then, the whole night I spent on my left side chugging water to try and ease the discomfort and BHC. I'm having BHC all the time... it's too much. And no one seems to get it. My mom is guilting me into driving 4 hours round trip on Saturday for dinner because my sister and her boyfriend went to Mexico for Thanksgiving. So NOW - on the only weekend I had NO PLANS - I'm driving 4 hours because my sister was on vacation during the holiday. And we're driving to my ILs for Christmas Eve. LOUD NOISES AND CURSE WORDS!!!!
QOTW: Yup! J loves the elf and remembered all about him this year. She gets so excited looking for him each morning. We don't do anything special, we just move him to different spots.

I swear this kid is learning new words left and right. Last night it was milk, and this morning it was socks.
I'm so over the separation anxiety. Isn't this phase supposed to be over already?!?! I could hear him screaming all the way down the hall when I dropped him off at DC this morning.
They've been teaching him ASL at DC since day 1, but he doesn't do it much at home (and I honestly don't know how much he does it at DC). Well last night I asked him if he wanted some milk, and he made the sign for milk. Only I had no freaking clue that's what he was doing. I'm all "wait, did you just make a sign? What sign was that?" So I furiously googled the sign for milk, and sure enough, that's what he was doing. Then the entire time he was drinking it, he would stop, make the sign, then say milk.
Sickie sick sick. Been feeling awful since Saturday, so I'm ready to feel human again.
Add me to the so ready for Christmas club. I'm off the 23rd-2nd, and it can't get here quick enough.
