We've been trying out sweet potato puree the past 2 nights. G has taken a liking to it, although he still shudders a little bit. But he opens wide and actually eats it! I can barely get L to open her mouth. She sees the spoon and clams up. She did open a tiny bit when I let her "help" with the spoon, but mostly she just wanted to play with it.

Tumbletot has been eating oatmeal, pears, peas and sweet potato. He has (projectile) thrown up pear nearly every time. I've tried fresh fear, puréed in a magic bullet, but that didn't make a difference. Anyone else have trouble with pear? He always wants to nurse immediately after eating purées...as if he wants reassurance or comfort. We only started to give him purées two weeks ago, so hopefully he's just warming up and sorting it all out still. I guess, for now, the adults will have to eat the remaining Harry & David pears ourselves.

Allergy?
I tried just a tablespoon today and it stayed down! I'm guessing I have to cut him off before he gets too full of pear. The other foods he cuts himself off...pear must be too exciting.
