DS was up a few times early this morning semi throwing up if that's what you want to call it. Idk wtf it was. It was barely anything. Maybe just acid reflux? I'm tired. Trying to get him to eat crackers or bread to see if he stays fine to determine whether or not he's going to school because he's saying he feels Ok but stomach & head still hurt yet he's talking normally, just laying down watching TV. We'll see I guess. So weird though. He usually never has anything going on with him & I was gonna go to Target today. Lol He's set on going to school though. He doesn't get the whole going to school sick & they're gonna send you home if you do it there so why waste everyone's time but then again it's been a few hours since the last time so maybe he's Ok now. Blahhh

Just like I thought. He wanted to go to school & seemed fine. Just got a call at 9, he apparently threw up on himself going to tell his teacher he didn't feel well but it wasn't too bad. It's mostly liquid-y but they still consider it vomit so he had to come home. I had a feeling he should have stayed home to begin with. Oh well.

Woof. DS is doing meh. Not the worst but not the best. Nurse had said there was a bug going around. Would have been nice if they would have given parents a heads up, no? Ugh. I hope the day gets better. He's currently binging on goosebumps.
thankfully I think he's on the up & up. he hasn't had anything come up since this morning & he's been snacking on carrots. It's so weird having him semi-calm/quiet. Lol

I have a 9 year old today! Omg!
Taking DS to dinner tonight to celebrate. I made his favorite cookies and his aunts are meeting us for dinner. Arm is still hurting but I've been managing. SO is home today so that's a bonus. Should be a fun evening here!
I'm glad your DS is feeling better namastebiotches. At DS's preschool they do put out a notice when a child in a classroom has come down with something contagious. It's nice.
I'm sorry for your loss @threegiraffes. 2017 has got to be better.
I have a new niece! It's the first girl on DH's side. Can't wait to meet her.
DD's teacher is asking again for class snacks for the month. I already brought some in but apparently the supply runs out this week. I'm irrationally annoyed that other parents aren't pulling their weight. A lot of people in my area are low income so I try not to judge too harshly.
this would annoy me too. But then again I'm still annoyed we're still doing snacks into kindergarten. 3rd year of snacks. When does it end?! Lol

I suspect it's because they're not sure what exactly it is. In the past we've gotten notices in contagious things going around so that's the only explanation I can think as to why it didn't happen this time. Just some mysterious bug.
