So far this morning lo has cried because: -the furnace turned off. -the cat didn't finish her treats. -the cat was playing with her toy and he wanted it -I wouldn't let him play in the garage
Last night Leo cried because I wouldn't let him eat a lime off the carpet. He stubbornly wanted to keep his lime face down on the carpet, pick it up amd lick it.
-Because he asked for his bagel to be toasted and was dismayed to find out the toaster isn't done in 0.5 seconds. -Because the sun was "on." -We picked up his sled from my parents' house and I made him sit in the car seat and not his sled to go back home. He wept the whole drive home.

Ooh toddler logic!!
Our most ridiculous (that's happened quite a few times now) is when we ask him to feed the cat (his 'job'). He refuses, mh or I do it, he cries hysterically bc he wants to feed the cat.
Also because I gave DD a Oreo with a broken top, even though she always takes of the top and eats only the filling and the bottom of the cookie. I was our last cookie so of course it was the end of the world that she couldn't have a new one.
