DH failed. Hard. LOL He waited until I got home from work today to even go buy me a card...and he didn't even like the card he bought me because he had to choose the best of the 3 options that were left. To be fair, I wasn't expecting anything at all because we NEVER do anything for Valentine's Day...but dude, not even a card? LOL
MH went skiing this morning, but came home with a card for me last night. We didn't open the cards until this afternoon. I got him peanut m&ms and made cupcakes for him and then we went to our favorite restaurant for dinner like we do every v-day
Pass- he took LO and I out for lunch and then shopping. Brought me to a nice store, which would normally be out of my price range, and told me to pick out an outfit. It took trying on quite a few things to find something that was just right, but he was patient and kept pushing for me to try different things. I ended up with a great outfit for going back to work. He also got me a card and wrote a nice note in it, champagne and sushi from my fav place for dinner.

Pass got up and he went to the store to get some sausage so I could mKe breakfast and he came home with flowers and starbucks. We just exchanged cards as gifts. Then we spent the day with lo at the zoo! Perfect day
Total fail...I got tickets to the autoshow and invited along to a lacrosse game by default because he couldn't find anyone else to go with.
He got up real early that morning and left the house so I assumed he'd get me something...nope, came home empty handed. I was a little disappointed even though we don't usually celebrate v-day. I bought him a dvd and his fave chocolate and gave it to him the night before in hopes that he'd at least get me a coffee or a card or something
