Sofa king tired this morning. I had a hard time falling asleep last night, so I got less than 5 hours of sleep. So much coffee today. M had a nightmare around 3:30 as well. I hate those, but he did go back to sleep easily once I went in there.
packmomma might it have been a nightmare? Those have increased recently for M, which is awful. He'll do that same thing, just start crying at a level that has me racing into his room.
Busy day. Conference call at 9:30 then site visit at 10 then luncheon at 11 and C's 15 month check up at 3. You know since he turned 15 months in November
ampaints it could be nightmares. I'm going to keep tracking it tonight and see if it happens at the same time every night. Does it make it really hard for you to go back to sleep? My adrenaline gets pumping and it takes me a really long time to fall asleep.
Today I'm taking w to the y for 30 minutes to get him used to the dc. Then we're going the LLL meeting. I want to go to the Barre class but I don't want to be sweaty for the meeting.
Stop screaming!!! W sounds like an eagle screeching. I had to fill the dog food container and he screamed the entire time I was in the basement. Holy shit.

Cuddling him and feeling him relax has helped relax me. So I haven't had that hard of a time, but I do tend to jumo more at any noises he makes for the rest of the night.
Work has been kicking my ass. I need to take a half hour just to clean off my desk this morning. It's literally covered in piles of files and I almost can't see over the top.
So yesterday my husband texted me to let me know that J didn't go to school because of a bad cough... and because my husband didn't wake up in time to get him there. At 9:00. He couldn't wake up before 9! I am not okay with kids missing school because my husband can't get his shit together in the morning.
ampaints I didn't get to work out (hadn't planned on it anyway). He finally calmed down at the end. We're going to go tomorrow (hopefully ) and see if that helps.
packmomma you gotta leave him there and let him cry.
I did. Today we just did a 30 minute drop off because we had the LLL meeting but tomorrow I'm going to try to leave him for an entire class. Last time they had to come get me though. I do just let them handle it because I know he needs to figure it out. Question: when he's screaming like that he refuses all distractions (water, crayons, tag blanket),anything you would recommend they try?
packmomma N cries some mornings at drop off and I think they try different stuff until something works. Are the same people in there at certain times? It could be good for him to go when one certain person is there.
