Hey LLR people. A consultant sold me leggings that ripped all up the butt after a few hours of wear. I've been trying to get them replaced. It's been a month and she has told me 3 times she would send me photos of her inventory to pick a new pair and hasn't.
What do I do? At this point im skeptical that I'll ever get them replaced and im honestly considering disputing the charge with my CC company.

I need to have a discussion with DCP about how much we are paying. We are paying her full time rate even though he only goes 3 days a week. Between her sick kids and J, lately it's more like 2 or 2 and a half days. I'm sick of paying that much especially when I haven't been 100% happy with her lately. If she's not willing to come down in her price ($325/week) we need to find a different provider. We live in a rural area and it's going to be tough to find someone else.
She kept texting me on Friday telling me J was worse and the albuterol wasn't helping him. If albuterol doesn't help, it's an ER visit so I had to leave work to pick him up. She opens the door with him and he gave me the biggest grin. Sure he was snotty, but he wasn't wheezing at all and certainly wasn't any worse than he had been the rest of the week. She kept complaining about how behind she was on everything. I kind of feel like she was just playing me so I would come get him.
He was supposed to go today because she couldn't take him on Tuesday and she text me that her daughter is sick. I can't knowingly expose James to another illness so DH and I missed out on our kid free day that we desperately needed. She agreed to take him Wednesday instead, but we'll see. I'm getting really frustrated.

FFTC: we only have the kids gifts left to buy for Christmas presents. We just couldn't decide on exactly what we wanted to get them until well, yesterday.
I finished shopping over the weekend. We have far too many people to buy for so spending freeze it is for the foreseeable future.
I need a nap or a caffeine IV drip. DH was supposed to take the baby last night since he has today off, but slept through everything including me shoving him and calling his name trying to get him up.
The other day someone was asking how LO sleeps (my new least favorite question to get as a mom and I've decided I need some snarky come backs now) and I said she has good nights and bad and looked and H and said you know. To which he replied, "no, I don't"

At least he was honest & didn't act like he gets up in the MOTN

I woke H up at like 3am Sunday to get me some baby Tylenol because J was having a rough time. He was all upset because the syringe was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND and I said I knew that it was next to the Tylenol. He grabbed one from when we were supplementing with formula her first few days home instead.
What did I find in the morning next to the Tylenol bottle? The Tylenol syringe. He told me that he's "just not good in the middle of the night." No shit, Sherlock.

I don't think any of the men folk are "good in the middle of the night." LOL.
Ummm, I'm not even good in the middle of the night (not anymore, I'm so freakin tired!!!), but someone has to do it and it's obviously not going to be my stupid DH.

I nursed DD1 for 8 months which involved about 6 months of me sleeping on a couch next to her swing and nursed DD2 for 3 months so I now hold that over DH's head and he does 80% of the MOTN wakeups. #blessed? More like he owes me.

Good thing for Prime shipping, right?
I realized today that we've only bought DS one gift. Poor second child. We'll definitely be using Amazon Prime!

V has a stomach bug and won't stop puking. Started on the way to her 9mo appt, which actually was nice because they checked her out and told me what to look for. Really hoping no one else catches it and that it passes soon

@pennycandy, you need to get a new DCP stat. You could probably get a part time nanny for what you're paying now. You need a break and someone who can devote the time and attention to J. I would be LIVID if DC called and had me pick up for nothing.

MH and I tag team MOTN wakeups. It's a lot of "I got up 2x, it's your turn". I can't imagine having an H not getting up at all or at least sharing half of the responsibility. Even when I was home and he was working, he would get up on the weekends with her so I could sleep.

If I ask him he gets up, but unless there is something wrong there isn't anything he can do. Regular wake ups I just nurse her and she goes right back to sleep.
Our household chores philosophy seems to be, I'm in charge, I do most of it, he does what I ask when I ask it and takes out the trash and we pay someone to do the things neither of us want to do.
This isn't a complaint, it works for us, I definitely think we are more "traditional" or whatever you want to call it than most couples are age.
