Anyone planning a Christmas reveal? We are telling H's family Christmas Eve. I think we are going to give them a stocking with a note about making room on the mantle for one more. This is grandchild #7 on that side and they have stockings for all the kids every year.

We are! I saw a simple silhouette picture in front of a Christmas tree and I think I just want to take a pic like that and post it. I don't want to do anything huge because I have a ton of loss/infertility friends on social media and I know the holidays are hard anyways. But since I hit second tri the day after Christmas I felt like I had to do something!
I tried to find a big brother shirt but my son has to olds and I couldn't find his size for a decent price.
We sent a sonogram picture in the card to my parents so that will be amazing I think!
DS's birthday is Saturday #christmaseve and one of his gifts will be a reveal that we are pregnant. He has been asking for a sibling for 6 years so he is due haha. I will film his reaction and probably post that as my social media reveal haha.

Team Leggings!!!
I'm not a huge fan of maternity pants, but I was looking at H&M maternity and they have really cute jeans. If I didn't care about money I'd buy a lot more maternity stuff, but 1) I only work 2-3 days a week and I don't need to dress up, 2) this is most likely my last pregnancy, and 3) who knows what size I'll be near the spring/summer. Also, I am 15lb less than I was when I first got pregnant with DS, and I still have all of those regular clothes, so I'm hoping to fly by on those to save money!
I'm doing a Christmas reveal. We're driving a couple hours on Christmas morning. When we get to my dad's house we will have them open an ornament. I also have a big brother shirt I might use. I am weird in that I don't like telling people. I don't know why I get so nervous but I do.

I agree. I think it's the most uncomfortable thing in the world to say the words "I'm pregnant."
Well. I was up all night with DD who has the stomach bug AGAIN. This is the THIRD time in two weeks our house has been blessed with the stomach bug. If I get it again I'm giving up. I have SO freaking much to do before we leave Friday. H is already threatening to push it back (because we are going to my family, so of course he doesn't care as much). I'm so frustrated.

There really is an absurd amount of food in my office. We have a dozen donuts, a pan of brownies, 4 dozen (I counted) cookies, a tin of popcorn and a basket of pears from H&D.

I thought it was just me who felt weird about saying it. Glad to know I'm not alone. We aren't telling extended family until we go back for a visit in January, and I was trying to envision how it would go. It all just looked awkward. Haha
DD is napping and then I'll take her to my parents so H and I can go see Rouge One and go out of dinner. It was one of his birthday gifts and we haven't been out since W was 7 weeks old. I'm so excited for some kid free time!

I think so. We probably won't wait until xmas morning because it will be hard to wait that long, but I'm bringing DD's stocking to my brother's and bought small one to announce.

F this cold. I freaking hate being sick when pregnant! It's the worst! You can't take anything worth while!! I'm pissed that I'm sick the day before I'm flying home. Worst timing ever!

Yup I also hate that, so glad I can use a big brother shirt this time so I don't actually have to announce it myself

Exactly! I have planned all my announcements so I don't have to say anything lol.
So I had to go into the OR today for work. They make you change into scrubs. I didn't give them back. They were so much more comfortable than the pants I was trying to squeeze my fat ass into.
I wish I could wear OR scrubs every shift. Thy are so much more comfortable.

There are 6 people in this office.
Can I come work in your office today??
Come on over! I just finished setting up the empty office for my new assistant starting in January!

We are going to announce to our families on Christmas Eve. DH is going to slip it in during prayer time. I am trying to avoid seeing people because it is obvious I'm pg. My mom and sister both asked last week.
I'm so sorry for all the colds that seem to have gotten to so many of you. Hopefully you will all be better before Christmas.

I'm out Christmas shopping with DH and the man is seriously trying my patience! It is a good thing for our budget and our marriage that I do most of the shopping on my own. 😜

I let my husband do the grocery shopping one week. I'm not sure what planet he lives on. That week we ate filet mignon, ahi tuna steaks, crab soup.... Like WTF? He'd bankrupt us if he meal planned every week.
