I was down too about then. Then the weight gain (or rather weight refusing to leave) of breastfeeding stated and the snacking and now I'm back up 10 lbs. Don't let an anomalie ruin your day. I'm sure you're beautiful.
Well, Ridley is moving forward more often. She still seems to have no idea she can do it or how she does it, but it's happening. Lots of scooting. She got herself into the blind of the patio door earlier and loved it. She loves looking outside. Hopefully this explains all the screaming in the middle of the nights lately and soon that will stop. I hate feeling like I need caffeine all the time.
Now we wait until she figures out how to get up on her hands and knees instead of just scooting.

@led I keep hoping that too, but we are still scooting and getting angry about not knowing how to crawl. Caffeine is the only way to function currently.

We've been up at 5 am to play the last few days. I thought that was bad but 3:30 is worse
Luckily it was only for an hour and then she went back to sleep for a few more hours.
That's been what's happening here. 5 he's all smiles and giggles and play time. Around 6:30 he falls asleep and sleeps until 9:00ish I guess it could be worse haha

mine is doing the same, except by the time he falls back asleep i need to get ready for work so i have been really productive lately.
Tuesdays I always have appointments from 2-3, 3-4, and every other month one day I have one from 4-5. Today is that day. It's too much today. Especially if she has to be up and in a good mood for us to go out for dinner at 6. Ugh.
I just cancelled the 3-4 appointment, so hopefully I can get her to take a nap then. But then she won't get another nap until bedtime probably. She's going to be a mess if I can't get her to sleep at 5. Ugh. I know h wants to go out, but ugh.

With Blake having to take the bus while we're figuring out the car nonsense he's not getting home until right before it's time for Ridley to go to bed. Which means I'm getting no time to myself during the day or in the evening now. I know he hates not spending time with her, but it's already wearing on me.
Tonight he missed a bus and now he's stuck in traffic and he won't be home until at least 8p. And that's assuming whatever is holding up traffic is cleared up in the next 10 minutes. 😥
I just want insurance to figure this shit out and get us our check asap so we can get a new car and he can start driving to work again. We live too far away for him to take the bus. I miss him already.
@led that sounds awful. Would your insurance cover a rental? Anytime my family had an accident they were able to request a rental car. Insurance never offered it but would always cover it when asked.

Hope it gets straightened out soon
We didn't opt in to reveal coverage, so no. I'm now wishing we would have, though. I might have to change that when we get our new car.
I'm so incredibly tired today and I'm not really sure why today is so much worse than every other day. Ugh. And of course she picks today to refuse naps, so that's helping. 😣

Stopping in to commiserate... DW is putting Is to sleep. This always involves epic crying. I want to intervene so badly but people keep telling me she needs to get used to DW comforting her. Ahhhhh. I try to leave the house or, like now, be out of her sight but I can still hear her. )c: Sometimes nights when DW is home from work late are just easier.

That's rough. It's always hard to let go and let a partner deal with the baby. The more it happens the more they'll get used to each other.

Good for you for sticking it out though. We didn't with J and now he runs to me for comfort 100% of the time. He sees me as the "love" parent and MH as the "fun" parent. I see the same pattern happening with A already, but MH is trying harder with her.

Thanks. Last night I took over, but she's also cutting a new tooth so the past couple of days/nights have been rough anyway. I don't know how we'll coordinate it moving forward. I have to just not be home when DW is putting her to sleep. We're at my in-laws the next two nights so I'll definitely put her to sleep to keep the peace.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas with their little ones. Is seemed to just be overwhelmed with new stuff. She loves her new Indestructible book though.
