Milestones: Standing independently for about 2 to 3 seconds.
Challenges: He is cutting his top teeth and has a cold. Life is hard right now.
Funny/cute story: We visited my sister this past week. W was obsessed with watching his Uncle J play guitar. It was so cute. He would sit in his lap and just watch and hum. Melt my heart. I told H he was going to have to break out his guitar for W.
How are you? I'm ok. H and I started having serious convo about if we are going to have another. He doesnt want to because of the cholestasis risk. I'm not ready to be OAD so it's going to be a process.
QOTW: Have you started thinking of New Years Resolutions or do you stay away from that tradition? Meh. I rarely make resolutions. I never stick to them.

Age: 4 months 3 weeks
Milestones: getting his first bad cold
Challenges: seeing him so miserable is hard and because of the cold his sinuses are clogged which caused an eye infection in both eyes. We went to the Dr and got eye drops and st least his eyes are looking better. He is still coughing a lot though.
Funny/cute story: he is such a happy baby and has been smiling and talking despite not feeling good.
How are you? Tired, due to the cold he has been nursing more at night.
QOTW: Have you started thinking of New Years Resolutions or do you stay away from that tradition? I generally just hope things will be better in the new year. Other than Silas being born this last year has been pretty crappy.
megrae12 I hope he feels better soon! Teething is such a bitch. We just finished tooth 7 recently and now I can tell 8 is moving on down. It's been almost constant (working on a tooth) for a month now.
sarcaztic10 that sounds dreadful, I hope he feels better soon. Sickness is so tough on babies.
heartbot good to see you in here! Glad to hear things are going so well
Milestones: He's walking with the walker now. It's all he wants to do. And he's finally perfected waving at people.
Challenges: Things are pretty good, he's just been having a hard time getting to sleep lately. Nap time and bed time take a lot longer these days. But then he sleeps perfect so I can't complain.
Funny/cute story: He does this cheesy grin now where he shuts his eyes and crinkles his nose. (You may have seen this on fb/ig.) He's such a ham and I love it.
How are you? Good. Making true sourdough bread has become my new obsession. Other than that, just getting ready for Christmas.
QOTW: I know myself well enough to know I won't stick to any resolutions. But I do need to get my butt in gear and start a real exercise program for diastasis recti.
Milestones: Baby girl has learned to roll back to belly.she hates tummy time so she then cries I ahe has decided that the best solution is to just stay to her side. I can not believe how long sge can stay there for. Baby boy is starting to try to roll. But pretty much gets nowhere.
Challenges: just the normal challenges with two. They woke up last night at 1 am for a bottle. They have sttn for ages so I am not sure what was about I hope it was just a fluke.
Funny/cute story: sometimes baby boy will just looks at me with so much love it melts my heart. He is a mommy's boy for sure. The other night baby boy was crying in bed and baby girl was babbling to him. Like "its ok I am here" I love seeing them together.
How are you? Doing ok. Getting ready for Christmas. At bit stressful packing for all of us. But looking forward to being where there is lota of help and maybe even getting some baby free moments!
QOTW: Have you started thinking of New Years Resolutions or do you stay away from that tradition? Oh man, I just really need to loose yhis baby weight. I am tired of not being able to wear what i want. And I don't want to buy new stuff in a bigger size.

tkford216, walking with the Walker, wow, wont be long now likely!
@sarcaztc10, I hope he gets better soon! Poor little guy!
megrae12, I hear you on the second (or third in our case), we are likely done, but i always wanted 2 pregnancies, and don't want to call us done. But the thing is, there isn't really a reason to make a decision right now, so I don't.

hollyberry we hit a rough sleep regression at 4 months after sttn for a long time. We found that it just took some time, but establishing a good bedtime routine helped a lot. GL! Eta, also, growth spurts. Every kid is different obviously, but here he would sleep more during the day and then wake up once (sometimes twice) for a bottle motn.
Milestones: moving forward! She's just started getting some forward motion, inchworm style.
Challenges: sleep! Of course. In the middle of her sleep she just starts screaming. Sometimes she'll stay asleep through it and sometimes it'll wake her up. But ugh. The screaming. I'm hoping once she figures out how to crawl it'll stop.
Funny/cute story: She inches her way into the blinds to the patio the other day and was so happy with herself. She just kept squealing with excitement. It was adorable.
How are you? Tired, but doing pretty well.
QOTW: Have you started thinking of New Years Resolutions or do you stay away from that tradition? I don't really bother with resolutions.
Milestones: Baby girl has become a rolling machine! She has been able to roll for a little while, but not constant log rolling like this across the room.
Challenges: Eating. She's never been a big eater (FF) so I'm worried starting solids will cut down her bottle intake even more. That being said we tried rice cereal over the weekend and the diapers and blowouts this week have been awful. I thought maybe she had caught a bug from daycare but then Tuesday she I noticed a mild rash on her belly. I checked the label on her cereal and the second ingredient listed is milk. Ugh, sorry girl.
Funny/cute story: As I mentioned DD2 is log rolling right across the room. Well twice this week I have left her playing on the floor in the living room for s second while I grabbed something from the kitchen. The first time I came back I couldn't find her, but she had rolled under the tree! The second time she did it I knew where to look
How are you? Doing pretty good these days. I'm feeling reflective and I'm very thankful of what I have.
QOTW: My New Years resolution is to not let things I can't change bother me. I have one family member who, being around this person really sucks the life out of you. I have decided I need to let this go and not let them affect my life and overall well being.
