Still no bump at 14 weeks. But the bloat at the end of the day almost looks like one. I'm happy to be able to fit into my clothes as long as possible, so no complaints here.
I found out yesterday a client I was at previously wants me back for a project I was on for a month before funding was delayed until 2017. The project isn't thrilling, but the location is perfect so I think I'll be pushing to get back there as it would likely take me through until maternity leave.

I don't think I had a bump until 20 weeks. I'm not skinny to begin with so I'm actually really happy to look pregnant and not just chunky.

Last day off before going back for 3 days lol. My mom is coming over later today to bring our Christmas gifts and MH said something about MIL coming to hang out with me this afternoon. Well right now I'm not even showered so ....

Also not skinny and I did not have a flat stomach before, so I expect to not have a true bump for a while. Which would be fine since I would like to not tell work until closer to the 20-week mark.

Do you want your MIL to hang out with you? Just curious because that is not my idea of a good time (with my MIL). Sounds like you need to get dressed. Sad times.

Help me finish my Christmas shopping!
My step-dad and FIL are the only ones left on my list.
FIL is recently retired and has absolutely no hobbies other than smoking weed once a week with his retired brother. Last year we got him a robe. He does not need another new robe.
Step-dad is also hard to buy for. I used to always get him fun beer combos or fancy liquor bottles with matching glasses and such, but he was recently diagnosed with cancer and is supposed to stop drinking. He hasn't. So...can't really support his bad habit anymore. He used to hunt, but hasn't gone since getting sick. My mom already got him a hoodie and my sister got him a hat, so those are out.
Spending limit is somewhere between $25-40 for each person, based on what I spent on everyone else. Can't buy online because it's too late, unless Prime.

Lol MIL doesn't bother me but it's way more fun when we are drinking 😂. I'm just not sure what she is coming over for.
I think that means I should get in the shower now and just put pjs back on after my shower. Although I just discovered I need more chocolate chips for cookies that I'm making tomorrow so I should go to the grocery store.

My MIL doesn't bother me too much either (she's definitely one of the good ones), but I don't hang out with her one-on-one and have no desire to without alcohol and an activity involved. I think PJs are acceptable attire for hanging out at home! My family does it all the time.

Thoughts??
Oh man, those are two tough ones! My default I-can't-think-of-anything gift is alcohol, which might work for your FIL but not for your step-dad.
What about house shoes/slippers? My FIL, dad, and grandfather all have one or the other and love them.

FIL doesn't drink and never has...I'm seriously stumped with him. One of his other kids got him slippers to go with the robe we got him last year. He drinks coffee, but refuses to drink out of any cup but "his cup" that he's had for 30 years, so coffee mug/coffee things are out. My dad is a super manly-man...even being sick and getting older, I've never seen him in pajamas or anything comfy like slippers. He's the type of guy who is always fully dressed from the minute he wakes up until the minute he goes to bed.
My dad has an old truck that he just bought...a 50something Chevy. What are cool things that you can get for an old truck??
akraus2015 - A 50s truck? My grandfather had a '57 Chevy and we got him dice in the same color as the paint job to hang in the mirror. What about music from the 50s he can play in the truck (assuming he likes the 50s)? Would he do a license plate frame?
Does your FIL watch TV? Have a computer? Maybe a month of Netflix?

Love the dice idea...and he really likes Elvis...maybe some Elvis CD's? Does an old truck have a CD player??

Also love the Netflix idea! Thanks marshain!!
Depends on if it's been upgraded or not. My grandfather's car had a tape deck. You can still find cassette tapes out there, maybe on Prime? There are also converters for iPod/phone to cassette (it's a special tape with an aux jack you plug into the device).
The worst part of people coming over is having to put on a bra
While I have a moment of awesome when I take my bra off at the end of the day, I can't go without one for too long without it being painful. The curse of big boobs.

Taking off my bra and the end of the day is literally my favorite part of the day. It's the best feeling.
I told H the other day, "I just wish you could feel what that feels like...it's so great."

Ask her to bring the chocolate chips with her!
Smart woman but she lives even further from the store than I do. I'll probably buy them tomorrow on my way to work.
