I'm exhausted. I think my kid is going through a sleep regression. He woke up every hour last night. He tried to "wake up" around 3 am again! We've never really had any sleeping issues so this is super weird.

Off work today and for the next six days! Just dropped Eli off at daycare so mama can get some cleaning and last minute Christmas stuff done. Current situation: Eating a grilled Chick-Fila sandwich and getting my car washed.
I don't want to deal with anyone today. This pregnancy is kicking my ass and I want to go back to bed. I did get a good laugh about my family bonding time in the bathroom while my head was in the toilet though.
So sorry. That was how my second pregnancy was. Sick for 22 weeks straight and could barely eat. Hugs, mama.

Eli is doing the same, but waking to eat for an hour or so, dance to music then go to bed. Like...What is this kid?! A frat house?

It's the day before Christmas break and I have crazy kiddos today. I'm showing them a video right now on how Christmas is celebrated in Mexico. Most of them are actually paying attention - I'm surprised.

So thrilled for my friend. She has three boys and just found out she's pregnant with a little girl!
**TRIGGER WARNING** This is a very big deal to her because sadly she had a daughter previously, but she was still born. I wish her a healthy, happy pregnancy.

Then I get all of next week with NO TEENGERS.
This is very cool. I love that you expose them to different cultures and traditions!

Morning. We went out for drinks with DH's friend last night and then saw Rogue 1. Good times. Then my MIL got up with M this morning when she woke up at 6 so that was nice. Today I think my MIL wanted to do some last minute shopping. So M and I will probably go with her.

Could it be teeth? Or growth spurt? Those seem to throw us off here. Though it is fortunately just a few days of crazies. Hope tonight goes better.
I went to target and sprouts with the boys. It's amazing how much longer it takes to get things done with them. I really should appreciate my husband more when he stays home with them just so I can grocery shop.
And I really do love and appreciate my H, but then he does dumb things like act like he's in a hurry in the mornings when I'm off work which means he doesn't have to drop off boys at MILs. And we live 10 minutes from his work. With traffic.
So yeah, I'm gonna be a little annoyed when he acts like he's running late yet really he's 45 minutes early.

Tell me if I'm crazy: I want to buy my 8 yr old son tickets to see Twenty One Pilots in Louisville, KY this coming March. It will be an early birthday gift. Is that too young for a concert? We can't afford the floor seats so no mosh pit. Just a standard seat.
Baking and cleaning happening here today. Just trying to stay on top of things. Also trying to do one more purge of unneeded items before Xmas.
Im jealous that your getting stuff done.I keep trying to bake but as soon a I go into the kitchen ds gets super clingy.
She has been "helping" push the button on the mixer and pour things in the bowl. Also it's early in the day. I can get 10x the amount done before noon then in the afternoon
That awkward moment when you're at the book store and you open your wallet to pay, and a panty liner flies out of your wallet....and the cashier is a guy.

I think it would be fine. As long as you are with him and he likes the music I don't see anything wrong with it.

I saw the beach boys when I was 8. That's like the same thing, right ?

He's a Twenty One Pilots super fan. Has been begging me for over a year to go to their concert. I've heard they are awesome in person. Yes-- I will be taking him. Louisville is about an hour from Columbus so not too bad.

The entire middle school is doing a movie afternoon today so my homeroom is watching "A Christmas Story" and eating treats. One of them is mad at me because I separated him from his friend that he wanted to cause trouble with.

Then I absolutely would take him. My only concern with young ones and concerts is exposure to drug use. Often times, there is a lot of drug use at concerts and it's not very hidden. This is also usually depends on the type of music (I don't know them so I have no idea what kind of music they play) but that would be my only concern for you and your son.

marygracerich - Good point. It's alternative rock. Very popular among young kids ages 6-12, and then everyone else older. I could see maybe a little weed usage there, but probably not a ton since its inside an arena and we are not in the "general floor" area where people do that more often. Glad you thought of that though!

I just scrubbed my kitchen floor by hand. DH failed to inform me he broke the mop last time he used it. I'm sweating like a pig. But hey-- it's clean (until Eli gets home).
