Good morning! I was woken with a phone call this morning that the mud and tape guy will be here soon. H actually slept past 7:30 otherwise I probably would have already been up. After the guy gets here, we eat breakfast and get ready we will head to Kohl's and the mall or target. I need to see if I can find a picture frame like I got for H's first Christmas at Kohl's, wish me luck. Then at the mall bbw is having their semi-annual sale and I want to see what they have for 3-wicks.
My MIL has been unplugging all of our appliances. I keep finding new ones unplugged (Aka, I try to use something and get frustrated until I realize why it's not working). If it was plugged in before you used it, that's the state we want it in.
Today DD is in daycare, so I ran a bunch of errands with DS. I went to HR at my work to talk about going back January 16th. I'm going down to part time, only 4 hours a few evenings a week. We decided that me being a cashier was probably the best for my hours, and more likely to get more that way. I'll still get to be with the kids during the day, and then make money in the evening lol.
I can't believe how fast the last year went by. It's insane. But at the same time, 2016 sucked ass for the most part (with the exception of our babies' arrivals!) so I'm glad it went by fast.
I think pineapples are out. Any time we've tried, he gets really spitty and cranky. Now, he had a piece of strawberry that had been sitting in pineapple juice and he spit up shortly after. Does this sound like an allergy/intolerance or just an acidity thing, because he does those little clementines just fine..
My house is full of whining. And it's making me feel crazy. And I'm still sick. I forget what my real voice sounds like.
I'm sorry. I hope you're feeling better soon. What's all the whining about? New toys should be curbing that for a few days I'd think.
Ugh C is whining for candy. Kid has a serious sweet tooth. But yes, he's easily distracted by new toys. L is whining because I think she's teething. So she whimpers whenever I put her down, literally. Or if I look away from her. Or think about doing either of those....

Appliances like your toaster or like your stove?
If she could reach the oven plug, I'm sure she'd do that too. All our kitchen appliances like the keurig, toaster, etc., the lamps in the living room, the humidifier in the nursery... all of which have cords not accessible to the baby.
Morning! I got back from my morning meeting to find MH giving the baby a hard-boiled egg mixed with fruit yogurt. Guess that knocks all the nutrients out in one fell swoop ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did she like that combo? I don't think I could do eggs mixed with yogurt.
Morning! We finally left the house. Kids went to daycare and I went to work to do my end of the month paperwork, turned that in and left. I basically took the week whole week off. Got a few groceries and now I'm home. Spending the day at home alone and for once not planning to clean. Just going to do whatever. I'll probably start looking through my closet for summer clothes that I'll take to Mexico in Feb and see if I need/want to buy anything for the trip.
There's so much snow. They are hauling semi trucks full out of downtown because there's nowhere to pile it. The roads, 2-3 days later, still haven't been plowed entirely. The emergency routes are plowed but everything is 1-1.5 lane open, no turning lanes, can barely get through. It's everywhere! And supposedly they are predicting another blizzard with 8-18 inches to come Sunday/Monday.
This job that they made seem was a sure thing is making me nuts. First it seemed like I would know last Tuesday(went for a second interview), then they said last Friday ... then yesterday my head hunter emailed them again and they said lots of people are out/sick/holidays and hopefully I will know by THIS Friday. I know it should seem promising that they aren't just coming back and saying no... but they are making me nuts! I wanted to take a week off between quitting and starting a new job and my time is dwindling!

She ate some but clearly didn't like it very much. I don't blame her, that's a pretty gross combo.

Would anyone like to find me a dress to wear to this Mexico beach wedding?
I went to a Mexico wedding when I was newly pregnant and let me advise you to not wear pointy heels (wedge is ok though if you need some sort of height) and make sure to wear something flowy (i.e. not tight). That's the general dress code that I saw, and it was definitely very different from regular wedding attire that I'm used to

That's definitely my plan. I'd like to go with a maxi dress and flip flops if possible. I'm so short so it's difficult to find a maxi dress that's not 5 inches too long. I've been searching online but there's not a lot of options out right now!
When do you think kids start enjoying the children's museum?
I think it depends on the exhibits. I've seen pics of some fb friends who have taken their toddlers 18+ months and there are areas of a pretend grocery store set up, water/sand play, etc. But otherwise I think it's more for a little older. I wanted to take DS on our trip last month but the one there is under construction so not many of the exhibits were open. I think at an older 3 year old there were things he would have enjoyed there, but also things over his head to enjoy the full experience. At this age (our babes) I think it would basically be you walking around and them just looking, maybe an area for them to crawl around?

That's what I was thinking too. Boo. I want to go myself! Lol.

We went to the mall this morning. S got a J.C. Penney gift card so I stopped there. I haven't shopped there in a very, very long time. Turns out they now have a mini Disney store inside of their store. So much cool stuff but I had to restrain myself from going crazy. Then I went to the limited because they are closing so everything is 75% off. I got 2 pairs of work pants for less than $40.

Is that what is happening with the Limited? The emails kept saying that it was just an end of season sale, but my friend went there also and said they were closing. So weird!

There was a story on our news station, I didn't catch it but the headline made it sound like ours wasn't closing but it sure looks like it is.
