britterrss I know you're a big Land of Nod fan, do you have any of their floor baskets? I'm thinking about getting one to put stuffed animals in but I'm not sure if it will be big enough.

Hi! I think X may finally be getting better. The fever is gone, but I won't fully trust it until it's gone this afternoon. It's usually low in the morning.
I'm going to see LaLaLand with my best friend today. I haven't seen her without my husband or my kid in like 9 months, so I'm excited! Tonight our friends with babies are all getting together for taco night. We haven't been together since June, so it should be fun!

We are going to have a rough transition when we get home, I think. I've been holding him for all naps and cosleeping st night this week because he won't sleep in the pack and play.
Hopefully he'll be so glad to be home he won't protest sleeping alone, right?

We weren't gone nearly as long as you, but we had a similar deal in that he only napped or slept in the car or with us for a few days. But when we got home, he was perfectly content in his crib, happy for familiarity I think. Hopefully it's the same for you!

DD's pink eye is almost all better. No more goop. The bright red has faded to a very light pink. And the swelling is almost gone.
I went to Urgent Care because my sore throat and cough were out of control. I don't have strep, but I got a prescription for the codeine cough syrup, along with a Z-Pak and Prednisone, and the combo seems to be doing the trick.
I also have pink eye, but we caught it early enough that my eye isn't gross looking yet. It was just feeling a little irritated. I have some drops and it already feels back to normal, but I will continue using them for a couple more days to make sure it's gone.

You guys, I'm getting my hair cut and colored for the first time in forever. I almost feel human! MIL is watching the baby for a couple of hours while I squeeze this appointment in, and I am so grateful for a little me time. Woohoo!
Ugh sickness everywhere! Last night around 11:30 I heard C cough and it sounded wet... went in there and she was caked in vomit. The worst! It was everywhere, plus a dry spot from before I had come to bed and didn't hear it. She seems fine today. Yesterday was the first day I let daycare feed her their lunch and didn't bring in food for her... I am convinced that is what it was.
Morning! DD slept great, she didn't stir at all so that was good. 👌🏻 She woke up happy so I hope her tooth did something. She did poop, but since I never heard her stirring I'm hoping it was right away this morning and she wasn't sleeping in it long. Her butt is getting red. Hopefully since she seemed better this morning her poop will slow down today.
DS and I had eye check ups this morning. It was DS's first time. He's been blinking a lot so I wanted to make sure he didn't have dry eyes or vision issues or something. It's probably more something he's consciously doing she thought. He is slight far sighted but she's not prescribing glasses at this point unless he seems to get headaches or really tired eyes from doing reading, writing, things up close like that.
DS and I are having a day together since DD is already at daycare. We are going to meet H for a lunch date. Then I think we'll go outside and play. We played a card game just a bit ago.
Oh also, I just gave away 152 oz of breastmilk. It's from the first few months before I cut the dairy mostly out and I don't want to give it to DD knowing it bothers her. A friend has an 8 month old and she's supplementing because she isn't pumping enough to send to daycare for the next day and he hates the formula and takes so long to drink it. So I offered and I hope it'll bring some relief to both of them. Sad to see it go but I have plenty of milk still that I'm more comfortable giving to DD.

Happy Thursday!
We found out that there's supossed to be an AC unit in DS's room so someone is coming later today to do measurements to install it. I'm really excited about this, we have a portable fan in there but it can still get kinda sticky and I'm sure he gets uncomfortable.
chocolate that's a really nice thing to do for your friend I hope it helps. I'm debating going to urgent care. My throats feels a bit better though, and I almost have a voice. So I think I'll wait... sitting on my couch sounds just as healthy....

Well Ryan had been pulling his ears and whiney for a few days. Tripped out to the clinic in snow ....he's fine. Damn little troll. He is getting a canine though so it might be from that. But I'm glad we at least know it's not his ears again. Dh and I started watching Life in Pieces last night. Could not stop laughing. Seriously hilarious . We were both in tears at one point. Rest of the day will be clean up. I want to steam the carpets tonight but that might be overachieving because I've been up since 5:15 (international phone call that had the wrong number)
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
I'm so ready for bed. I've been so cold and tired the last few nights and barely made it past 9:00. Also I must have a cyst on my left ovary and it's bugging me tonight. Boo.
Tomorrow I'm officially throwing away all Christmas leftovers and baked goods. I can't wait to empty my fridge out.
S has entered the biting phase. She was playing on the floor a little bit ago and to DH's surprise she bit his toe. He kicked out of instinct and knocked her down. She cried of course but I think she was scared more than anything.

Sorry I've been totally MIA here. I have some of their baskets and really like them!

Do you have the big size?
No. We have this set: m.landofnod.com/forest-etiquette-cube-bin/f20120 and 2 of the smaller striped bins. I love them all. I especially love the linked ones because they are easy to move from room to room. I will probably get a larger one when we have the need for it, though. Currently all/most of his toys fit in those 3. We are pretty minimalist though, so may not have as many toys as others.
