I think I have my period. 28 days after having Alex I started bleeding heavily again. And it's a bitch. Between that, leaky boobs, and a baby that pees thru his pjs (& my shirt, pants, undies) there's no way I'm leaving my house today.
That balloon catheter sucked, but worked. At a 5 now to start pitocin and turn the epidural back on. It was so uneven, it went all the way up to my boob on one side which was really bizarre. Baby is behaving well which must be a unique thing today because everyone keeps commenting. Still looking like a middle of the night baby, we just have to wait and see what year.
Hey I have a WWYD for you guys. I have a friend who wants to come see the baby and she asked if she could bring her kids by the house. Her kids are nice kids, but they are 4 and 2 and seem to always have the sniffles or a cough, pretty much every time I see them (they go to daycare). Should I ask her to come over solo without the kids? LO is only 12 days old. Or am I being uptight about this?

My baby is a month old and is congested since Thurs. It's horrible to hear him coughing and choking on the phlegm. After this I'd say no to kids. I'm skipping my nephew's bday party tomorrow.

I don't think you're being uptight. Fever in the first month is an automatic trip to the ER, mandatory two day hospital stay and spinal tap. SO not worth the risk. She should understand you being overly cautious.

legalbeagle....like, no emails at all? Or zero unread?
I too love resolutions. I usually write them down and post on the fridge.
*TW* I miscarried last year the first week of December. I'm in such a different mental space this year and I was just reflecting on that today. We are so, so lucky. Happy new year.

Thanks both. I told her that her kiddos can meet her later. Hopefully she will be cool with that. I can't imagine having a baby this small get sick!
