We're staying home tonight and my nephew is coming over for a sleepover. He'll be six in a week and DS adores him so hopefully we have a fun night. My nephew is definitely high spirited so he can be difficult sometimes but I've got my hopes up for a good evening.

I got H a french press for Christmas and it's so amazing. After 2 days of using it we tossed our drip machine.
No big plans today/tonight. We are going to go on a run this morning to the gym and then will work on taking down Christmas. I signed up for a half-marathon in March so I need to start working on "training" this next week. I wanted to do a half in February too, but H is doing that one and we are trying to save money so I'll have to sit it out. I'm super sad about it. I just listed one of our dressers for $40 so maybe if I sell that soon I can convince him that I can do it too.
I've been battling a cold for almost a week now. It really sucks. It's making me not be as productive with H being off.
I'm still lying in bed because I woke up with bad sinus pain again. I know it'll get better if I get up, but I'm being lazy.
We're having a few people over tonight to hang out. It'll be fun, but I don't really enjoy hosting and am kind of regretting it. It's supposed to be a low key night but I'm still worrying about food and whatnot. And I have to clean more. Bah.
On the plus side, I'll be making a bunch of snickerdoodles. Maybe some chocolate chip cookies too.
We are having a lazy morning at camp. We haven't made any plans for tonight - I'll see if we can get a dinner reservation anywhere else we'll just stay in and cook. No giant sardine tonight but H promised we can still do it with a kid some day.
We will likely be taking down Christmas, and maybe work on getting DD's toy situation under control. Need to go to Lowe's to get a couple big totes- 25% off!
Tonight were having a couple friends over for game night and will make dinner together. Either grilling ribs or making pasta with vodka sauce. Both sound good... hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years Eve!

We're going to a hockey game tonight and then to a friend's house for games while DS goes for a sleepover.
Last night DH and I were discussing names. He said he didn't want to use a name a brought up because an old high school friend of mine (who we haven't hung out with for 4+ years) named her son that in April. I had to point out his logic was flawed given that we named DS after his father and his brother shares that name too /guylogic

icedtea mostly Craigslist. I'd do stuff on our neighborhood FB page too, but since we are off social media Craigslist is the way to go. We have a lady coming in about an hour to look at it so I'm hoping she takes it.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is going to be lazy tonight! DH and I are also boring and not only have no plans but do not intend on staying up late. We spent the last few days in Maryland visiting relatives and now that we are back in Jersey we're trying to have some time to just hang out and relax. DH just bought a new car too (Nissan Rogue) so he's enjoying that
Ooh jmichlik , tell me of the Nissan Rogue, I've been considering it. I know it's new, but good impressions so far?
So far so good... he bought it on Weds so of course only a few days of driving thus far. Definitely roomy, nice smooth ride, and good amount of trunk space. The trunk actually apparently has over a dozen setups due to different shelf arrangements, which we have not tried out yet but will be helpful for carting around massive amounts of toddler/baby stuff.
icedtea I have the Nissan Murano which is just a little bigger than the rouge and I LOVE it. Lots of room, smooth ride. I have no complaints at all about it.
We were just planning to stay home tonight but we're going to head to my parents instead. They have people over every year and we never go but I want to celebrate with C instead of doing nothing. Plus I won't have to cook!
tortor4, I've always liked how the Murano looks. How do you feel the mpg is? Enjoy your night! Not cooking is always a win.
I'm going to be completely honest and say I really don't know. The furthest I usually ever drive is about a half hour away once a week to see my grandma. Other than that, typically everywhere I drive is within 10 or 15 minutes from me. With that being said we do use it as our main family car though and we really don't have to fill it up as often as I expected to with an SUV.

Hi, ladies. Checking in late today as we just had everyone leave from DD's birthday party. She had fun but is wiped since party at noon = no nap. I'll probably go to bed when she does tonight but get up at 11:30 so I can at least see the ball drop.
