MissSally, insurance companies and coding sucks. Sorry you had to deal with that today. This probably deserves some type of trigger warning... After my second miscarriage I got a bill from my OB's office for the prenatal care visits that I had. I told them that my plan covers prenatal care. Well, apparently it only covers prenatal care if you deliver a baby, and as the billing specialist told me, "you didn't deliver a baby." Well, no, not in the way I wanted to, fuck you very much. So my prenatal care visits were changed to "other maternity services" which go towards my deductible. I was so upset.
This happened to me too. It was very upsetting. And also much more expensive.

I've been a spotty poster around these parts. Trying to pick it up. Things are going good over here. Can't really complain. Measuring 11w1d when I thought I should be 11w4d so that's weird but not too alarming. Other then that I'm dying to dye my hair. I'm literally white. Doctor requested I wait until after 12 weeks so patiently waiting bc I seriously look crazy.

I finally got an OB appointment! I'm nervous, I love my RE clinic and the techs a lot. So I hope that I feel comfortable with the new clinic and staff.
DS asked me how babies get out of bellies. I should have been prepared for this. But I was not.
DD asked me also. I said women's bodies are made to be able to have babies and there is a special place that they come out of. Didn't go a whole lot more into detail. But she is also 7 so her realm of understanding is pretty good.
xxjen015, I've always been a lover of leggings, but lately it's ALL I can wear. Maternity pants are still too big (even side panel) but my jeans are def too tight, even with a belly band.

+1 here. Leggings with long sweaters. I live for them.
I sure can't do my jeans anymore. Not even with any tricks. I have only one pair of leggings. I really need to do some shopping. My yoga pants are getting a little snug even. Thank goodness I stay at home so I can get away with so much less clothes, but not one pair of pants.
I'm laying in bed with ds2 praying he will actually watch more that 2 minutes of Mickey Mouse. He woke up too early and I can't deal with him yet. Dd spent the night with my parents and dh brought ds st school already. Ds2 is an EXTREMELY high maintenance little guy. I don't sit down during the day because I have to chase him getting him off counters, sinks, out of everything. He's such a handful. He recently learned how to climb up the refrigerator. I mean he's 20 months!

Mine didn't ask, but my SIL had a baby on Wednesday, and he seemed concerned when I said she was at the hospital, so I told him she had to go to the hospital so the doctor could help take Baby Cousin out of her belly. And then he was quiet for a really long time just kind of staring into space and I wish I knew what he was imagining in his little brain. I hope it wasn't traumatizing.

Yikes, I'm glad my house is designed so I can gate off my kitchen - my DS hasn't gotten that far yet but he does like to play with the dogs food lol. I hope he takes a long nap for you today!

Oh he also does not really nap! He get over baby gates real fast. He amazes us everyday with what he does.
I forgot to take my nausea meds last night, and I really thought I would be fine. You'd think that closing in on 13 weeks my MS would have gone away by now. But...no dice. I threw up while I was brushing my teeth this morning, and now I feel absolutely terrible. Do not want to suffer through this whole day like this. :/

I hear you on not napping, my 11 month old napped for 40 mins yesterday. In that case I really hope he takes to Micky mouse today!
I cannot bear anything putting pressure on my belly. My high waisted yoga pants squeeze too much, jeans are out of the question, even maternity jeans squeeze too tightly! I was like this last time too. It hurts and makes me queasy 🙄 all I can comfortable wear are super loose sweat pants and fold down yoga pants. Ridiculous. And impossible to looks well dressed!

I hate anything pressing on my belly, too. I keep saying I can't wait for warmer weather because I'll wear dresses pretty much every day. April-July= No Pants.
I've been wearing leggings every day. Yesterday we got snow and H wore a pair of like black under-armor leggings (compression pants? I don't know what they're called) under his jeans for warmth while he was outside in it. DS saw him change when he came in and when he took his jeans off DS (2 and a half years old) said "You kinda look like mom!" and then laughed hysterically as if seeing DH in leggings was just the most ridiculous thing he had ever seen. We all cracked up.

I have to go to our home office for 6 days of meetings. Dress code is business casual, but definitely more on the business side. Not looking forward to figuring out things that look good and don't make me want to hulk with rage at clothes touching my belly.

I have a conference next week that I'm staffing. I'm praying my blazers aren't too tight. I think I can pull off my black skinnies to go with them. Hopefully.
