@janetheconquerer, YAY for non-cancerous! Sorry you have to have it removed, but hopefully it won't be too difficult of a procedure! I may have missed it, but where are you heading next week?

@janetheconquerer I'm so happy for you that it's benign! Sorry that you are facing surgery though. How soon do you need to do it? Do you still have to follow the really strict diet?
The forecast had increased the amount of snow we're expecting slightly and moved up when it will start. I made H stop at the store on the way home. He had to wait to get a basket, said it was crazy. So happy I don't have to do that tomorrow. So let's see what actually happens.

Snow watch 2017 is on. Daycare is closing at 4, so I hope they're letting us off early. Everyone is still scared from the cluster fuck from 3 years ago, so I'm thinking they will.
I also anticipate that this is all anyone will talk about at work today.
@mrspanpan, aydee, no deadline to schedule the surgery but he made it sound like the sooner the better. I will probably schedule for February as my H travels twice at the end of this month, plus my insurance fiasco that is on going right now. No way will i schedule surgery until my insurance is active. And I should be following the diet but with all my traveling and the holidays i gave up. I am starting to eat healthier again and will try to cut carbs down a lot but not completely.
ampaints, & packmomma and anyone else in the GA area - fx your state has their act together this year and you don't' have a repeat of 3 years ago. Stay warm my friends and safe and well you all should probably just grab a bunch of food, movies, and alcohol and stay inside.
H and I have had a lot of downs this week. I keep trying to make things better and to let some stuff go. But it's hard when I feel he is being irresponsible and selfish. With that said, he is taking me out tonight to a place he never ever would set foot in, but we are going to celebrate my birthday. So wine and good food for me. Hopefully it's a good time.
@janetheconquerer, YAY for no cancer! What a relief! Brrrr for a Minnesota. Couldn't work send you there in the summer? It's beautiful there then! H's family is in Minnesota and after a miserable experience being snowed in in 2014, I've declared spring/ summer only visits. I'm sure we'll have to go back in the winter for the holidays at some point, but I am not looking forward.
th3stryck3r, it's our main manufacturers annual sales meeting. And since it's typically below 0 at this time of year and people aren't typically installing playgrounds in this kind of weather (except FL since you know, it's a million degrees) they close down their factory for inventory and the sales meeting. It will always be in January!! lol. Past years it's be -20° so i keep telling everyone we're lucky since it's going to be in the 20's!
@mrspanpan I had more days than I would like to admit where I forgot to wash after rinsing the conditioner out. I had quite a bit of shampoo left once I finished the conditioner.
My stylist recommended the reverse cleansing system to try and give volume to my baby-fine hair. I felt like it sucked all the moisture out of my hair and stopped pretty quickly. Frizz =/= volume I want to have!
The good news for today: migraine is gone (yay for prescription drugs!) and the snow didn't stick at all yesterday. I would happily go the rest of my life without snow. Also got in a good workout this morning.
Bad news: there is a funky smell in my fridge. I have searched everywhere and can't find it. ARGH!
No one showed up to the moms group meeting but w and i had fun at the playground (Chick-fil-A). On the way home in hear w sucking and I look back. ...he's sucking on the bottom of his shoe!! To make it worse in grabbed it from him and there is something stuck to it. Hork
