I also have an appointment tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it!
I still need to find an OB. I've been waiting on my new insurance cards to find one, but apparently they are super backed up. I need to find one that delivers to a specific hospital, and my old OB does not.
I hope they won't give me too much flack about coming in close to 2nd tri.
My 13 week appt is in 45 minutes. I have to take DD with me because my mom had somethings going on with work this morning. This should be interesting...

Let me know how it goes. I scheduled my NT scan on my one day off so I don't have to make up like 3 hours for appts on my work days, but it means I will have a 13 mo with me! lol I still haven't figured out it logistically!! Pray I can restrain her in the stroller with food and toys?!

W did awesome for my appt. I brought snacks and toys but she just snuggled with me on the table. My appt was super short though.
I'm sure a nurse could help you if you need extra hands. Everyone was gaga over W today.

That would be nice!! DH should come to the scan too, so I figure he can hold her during the US!

Just had my 12 week appointment. Easy Peasy. Baby kept moving so it was hard to get a great listen to the heart beat, but it was there. A was the same way. My OB was a little concerned because I lost 5 lbs, but felt if my nausea was improving and I was keeping stuff down it should get better. Hey, more reason to eat ice cream 😉
Tgrrl, I'm down 12lbs so far, but I have room to lose, it definitely makes me feel like it's OK to give into cravings because at least it's something.
I lost with DD too, but started to gain it back around 30 weeks. Your body will regulate so as long as you're getting something (especially water) in now, there's usually nothing to worry about.

I think I lost between 5-8 lbs in the first tri with DD before I started to gain. I was so sick. My OB wasn't too worried. I how your nausea improves and you can keep down that ice cream!!

Blood work & an early glucose screen on Thursday. I thought I wanted to be Team Green, but the closer I get to having the genetic screening stuff drawn, the more I'm tempted to find out the sex.... I hope I stay strong!!
I will say I have been team green with mine. It was amazing with the first to hear dh say it's a girl as they were putting her on me. Then pulling my little man to me and seeing it was a boy! We adopted our first and the birth mom wanted to tell us and it just wasn't the same knowing. Anyway all that to say stay strong if you want to be team green!

Hope your nausea goes away soon!
I lost 4 in the first tri with A. And they said nothing. I also have lots of room to lose. (I was one of the lucky ones to gain weight with breastfeeding and was in the process of losing when I got my BFP) I should clarify, I'm not worried about it, but he seemed to be, so I'll take that as a free pass to eat all the ice cream I want..Drs orders 😉
Had the NT scan - baby was measuring 3-4 days ahead (based on dating US I had at 7+5), I think the HB was 162 but the tech pointed out the flicker and the legs and there was a hand up near the face, it was cute. I think the NT was in the 40th percentile.
So with that we'll announce this weekend- I made DS a future big brother shirt to wear.

Had the NT scan today. All seemed fine but was measuring 2 days behind but they didn't seem concerned. Heard baby's HB for the first time.
Also, I asked the tech and she looked between baby's legs and told me she was pretty sure it was a boy! I have a feeling. Obviously it's still early but I can't get it out of my head now.
easilyunamused I am switching OBs as soon as I get my medical records and take it to the OB I want to go to. I know someone who switched OBs at 32 weeks. I hope I don't get turned down! I didn't even think of that.

toadandbuggie, I had a friend move states when she was close to 7 months. She told me some OBs declined to bring her on as a patient. I thought it was odd! She did end up finding one though.
I called one OB a couple weeks ago, but she was no longer taking pregnant patients. So it can happen. Good luck!

Yeah, I've heard a lot of OB's won't take anyone past 1st tri for liability reasons. I would check with the potential OB's to be sure.

That's it. I was forgetting the word I needed. Liability.
I finally got my insurance card so I'm hoping going to be able to make an appointment with an OB tomorrow!

I had to switch OBs in my third tri with my daughter and had a hell of a time finding one. It wasn't a liability issue, they were just already "booked" for my birth month.

Well we had the NT scan today, or didn't I guess. Baby was not measuring big enough to get a measurement so instead we just looked at it wiggling around in there and I have to come back next week and do it again.
There is definitely a discrepancy with when exactly I ovulated and when my EDD is. I've been nursing and only had 1 post pard period so no idea. According to my LMP EDD should be 7/15, according to the last sono should be 7/22 but according to today's sono EDD is 7/25.
I know I'm having a RCS so I want to make sure the EDD is as accuracte as possible. Do not want to take this baby out before he/she is ready. So that's really the only thing I'm super concerned with. Just let my baby cook.
So I had my NT today but not really. Baby was measuring right on track but moving like crazy. the tech was able to get one measurement but said she needed more.
