I switched from Colace (because I ran out and felt it wasn't helping much anyways) to Metamucil capsules. I started off with just 2 capsules a day and depending on how tomorrow/Thursday are will bump it up to 3-4 (2 in the morning, and 1-2 around lunch.)

I have been thinking about switching to Metamucil as colace has not helped here ether. Glad to see there is hope!
Insomnia has hit me too. While I don't need unisom for nausea as much now, I now need it to sleep. Even with it I wake up a zillion times to try to get comfortable (doesn't work) and pee. But at least I can fall back asleep with the unisom in me.

I was very anxious about my anatomy scan this morning. When I get nervous i tend to get gassy. Even though I miraculously pooped last night, I still had my nervous gassiness. Well in a waiting room of 30+ people I accidentally farted. And it's one of those plasticy leather seats which amplified it. Oh well at least I was in good company. Although embarrassing, they should all understand
Omg starsandshamrocks123 I would have died! But you're right, the other women were sympathetic I'm sure, it kind of was the best place for that to happen.
starsandshamrocks123 omg you poor thing. DH and I do NOT talk about gas/bathroom stuff, like at all - i really really hate talking about it with anyone IRL. Sunday night i decided to take a bath while he was watching football, and the gas hit hard...I was not holding back. i got out to go to bed and assumed that he was still downstairs, but apparently he had come to bed at some point and i didn't hear him come up! i really really really hope he hadn't been there long.

agm04 I totally get that... After the birth of DS when DH saw EVERYTHING our openness changed a bit though haha. But I still prefer to be alone with bathroom stuff!
Those of you with constipation issues- I highly suggest Metamucil in some form (powder into the drink or the capsules.) I have had 4 BMs in the last 3 days! (That's not even how my system works not pregnant!)

I wish this was my house. Between teaching elementary school, my husband and son my life is a non stop toilet talk track. 🙄
starsandshamrocks123 i just like to pretend DH didn't see what he saw during DD's birth. lol. i swear i'm not a child, but the poop stuff is just not my thing.

I think this is sort of a symptoms thread too so I'll post here
Anyone having lower back issues? I'm pretty sure it's because baby is affecting my sciatic nerve. Only on the left lower side. It's getting tough to move my left leg. Like struggling to put my left shoe on. I had this last time and I feel like dr said there's not much I can do. Suggested a chiropractor but I just dealt with it and it went away when he moved positions a few months later. I mentioned it at my last appt but got sidetracked on asking if there's anything that will help. I can google, just wondering if it's just me here

My back has started hurting lately. Very low, like the base of my tailbone. I work in a preschool and I think sitting on the small hard chairs is not helping. I never had any back pain with DD, not even at the end, so this has me concerned about how I'll be feeling as things progress. I think this baby is also lower than DD was, but it's hard to know for sure yet.
starsandshamrocks123 that's not pleasant, i'm sorry! i've had some butt pain that i think is sciatic nerve related too. :/
i saw a chiropractor for a lot of my last pregnancy, once a week for a while, and then twice a week when my breech baby wouldn't turn. i seriously felt great the entire pregnancy (physically anyway), and i wonder if it was partly bc of the chiropractor. i'm not all hippy dippy, but i actually got adjusted while i was in labor (an attempt to speed things up...which it totally did). not sure what your insurance covers, but mine covers chiropractic care, and i figure i'll be meeting my OOP max this year anyway so i'll be starting that back up ASAP!
I think RLP is picking up. Early this morning it was the right side, and now it's on the left. Zings of pain fairly low near pubic bone). Come and go in the same exact spot. It's annoying and does not help my anxiety.
