Goals-hit my step goal daily and stay within calories
High-hit calories yesterday and step goal Monday and Tuesday
Low-blew calories in Monday. I'm also having a hard time getting use to tracking again. I need to better plan snacks for work so I'm not tempted by chocolate.
Goal: gym at least 2x per week High: went to gym today, had an AWESOME lifting session Low: ate an unbelievable amount of junk yesterday....sweet tea, candy, cheetos, just awful
Re: whole 30...only the first week sucks. You have to get in the right mindset to do it. I've done it only once but it made a real lasting change on my diet, but you really need to not have a "in 28days I can finally eat cake" attitude or you will struggle the whole time. Focus on how you are fueling your body and feeling better and breaking emotional ties to food. Focus on trying new ingredients, new recipes.
I need to work weights into my gym days as right now I only do cardio 2dumbdogs. Where do you find your exercises? I have the womens health big book of exercises and might go in there and find a routine to start up again.

I sometimes make it up as I go, which is a terrible plan because then I do half ass workouts.
A book I've liked in the past is The New Rules of Lifting. Every once in a while I'll buy a health or fitness magazine and do their workouts for variety. I don't like to Google or Pinterest for workouts cause there are a lot of bad workouts to sift through (bad as in not meeting my goals/workout style). The women's health book looks pretty Good, I might check that one out!

@mrspanpan, yay!!
I am down 5lbs! I weighed sometime in december and was really shocked at the number. I haven't made specific changes just more mindfulness in my choices. I am hoping this continues.
I'll join it, kinda late! Thanks for starting it up, @janetheconquerer.
Goals-Complete the 31 day Yoga Revolution in close to 31 days. Do some running. Make better food choices.
Highs-E is mostly sleeping better which helps my motivation to work out/eat better soooo much! I've done days 1-4 of the Yoga Revolution and I'm really happy with it! I made some Tom Ka soup today that was delicious and healthy.
Lows-The snow. I won't get out to run in a few days probably b/c I can't take the jogger out on the ice (which is what we now have on the streets since they plowed the snow off). My eating overall has also still been garbage. We're talking spoonfuls of Nutella all day long.
Goals: get back on the spin bike at least 3 days a week starting tomorrow. I'm going to get the Peloton app and subscription so I can be held accountable and be forced to do it since it costs money.
And....we're on hold over here. Ginger ale and crackers is my current diet due to this horrid stomach bug. Lil E had it first, then DH and now me. Once I start feeling better, we should be in the clear.

Having money on the line (for me, it's race registrations) usually is my biggest motivator to stick to a workout plan.
Highs: I managed to hit the gym both mornings when i was out of town. Week 1 day 3 of couch to 5k and a 2 mile fast paced walk. Plus i started core strengthening. I call that a win.
Lows: I ate like shit. the first day of meetings was movie themed so i ate all the popcorn, candy and donuts plus pretzels with cheese sauce. When in rome, i guess
Goals for the week: gym 3 or more times and start core strengthening.
My motivation is every time i look in the mirror and see my fat face. seriously. plus the video of my fat ass going down the slide at the sales meeting. I guess I should add to my lows my poor self esteem and make that a goal to improve. I really hope that having surgery helps me find my balance with weight again. But until than I will keep trying to live a healthy life.

This week has been rough— all my energy and spare time is focused on packing for our move this weekend. I haven't been able to get a good workout in. I also abandoned dry January, but I figure I'm starting the 8 week whole life challenge next week, and that's mostly dry, so no need to kill myself now.
Highs— I've still been pretty good with healthy eating, despite having most of my kitchen packed up.
Lows— workouts have basically been non existent. At least being in NYC, I can't avoid walking!
Excited to get through this move and eat back to my routine.
