Currently the hot topic in our house! We use family names in the middle spot, and by girl four we've run out of really good ones. Lol.
I have such a hard time picking names. I have a large number of requirements. Preferably out of the top 150, can't start with a B or a V, can't be weird or a made up spelling (my first being my exception to this rule, whoops), ideally ends with a different sound than our other girls, must flow well when yelling the first and middle together. Lol.
Sisters are Ry.ann Eliz.abeth, Els.ie Jo.ann and Th.ea Lorr.aine.
Current contenders are Adelaide, Arden, Genevieve, Greer, Harlow and Lucia. DH likes Taylor and Hailey, but those feel rather 90's to me.

DH and I won't even discuss names until we find out the sex of this baby. One less thing to fight about!
I think we will have an easier time if it's a boy. I mentioned in passing a few months ago that I liked the name Duncan and DH said "I like Duncan." DH is half Scottish and Duncan has a strong Scottish history, so that may be the leading contender for a boy name.
Girls names will be hard. When we named DD we picked something we probably would have never considered otherwise. We named her Grace after Amazing Grace because it is such a beautiful song played on the bagpipes. DH did say a couple weeks ago that he likes Harper and I was like uh no. I told him it was way too trendy and he's not naming our baby after a baseball player (Bryce Harper). My favorite girl name is Clara, but I'm not sure it would go with our last name. It would be like this lovely sheet set. Other girl names I like are Cecilia/Cecily, Anneliese, and Juliet. Can't really see DH going for any of those.

ajetter, not sure I would ever be able to name 4 girls! My favorite of your contenders is Genevieve, but not sure if it flows as well with your other girls, if that even matters. Not really a fan of Harlow - always makes me think of Harlot.
AmazingTulip I love Harper! That's actually our girl name if this winds up being a girl. We can't decide on a boy name. We also won't really discuss in depth until after the anatomy scan.

I want this baby (if it is a girl) to have the middle name Grace, because the song holds a really special meaning with our losses and the way I found out I was pregnant this time. Love it! I also super love Cecily!!! The Importance of Being Earnest is a favorite play of mine - and I played that character forever ago!
We have a boy name picked out - he will be Tucker. No middle name yet. If it's a girl we have no idea, but we both kind of like the name Sadie. It has only very recently become a discussion though so we have a long way to go.
If it is a girl I am fairly certain she will be Freyja. My DS is Erik aka the Viking as he is rich in my Scandinavian features. He doesn't like Freyja though! He like Kristina?! Which is a classic but I have way too many friends cousins etc with the name.
For a boy we like Remington nn Remy but not sure if we can't pull the trigger on such an odd name. It just sounds boss with our last name. Generally I try to pick Scandinavian names but there are few boy names I like so I may try to dip into my Scottish heritage there. Connor, James, Sean.
@amazingtulip Genevieve is my favorite as well, but for the same reason I can't commit to it. Harlow is definitely my least favorite. I'm leaning towards Arden, but that isn't a 'real name', it's a surname. Not that it should stop me. I really like Greer but DH isn't sold.
I've always had Harper and Hadley on my list but feel they're too trendy and popular. My alternative with number two was going to be Hattie, but I was super paranoid about her being called Hattie the Fattie. So we settled on Elsie. Which is naturally the name of a cow. Lol. There is something wrong with every name. Eventually I get over it.
Clara and Juliet are also on my list but are no go's with DH. Men. Ruining everything.

I used to love the name Sadie, then my aunt named her dog that. To be fair H won't use Oliver either because we also know a dog named that lol.
We have a working short list of both boy and girl names, but I think it'll take a while to finalize our choice. Last time we had 2 top contenders and it took a couple months to decide for sure. We'll revisit more after the AS

My aunt had a dog named Sadie when I was a little girl. I don't care though. I still love it!
We chose our girls name probably 2 years ago. Elizabeth Mae, call her Ellie.
We had agreed on Julian Cooper for a boys name, but DH decided that Julian reminded him too much of the character from Nip/Tuck, so we are back to the drawing board. We don't mind Maxwell, call him Max. Another option is Cooper Gray. Gray is a family name.

We are team green and picking names is usually my favorite. But we are definitely struggling on girls names.
DD is Lelaina Mary (sounds like Elena with an L in front) we got it from the movie Reality Bites and we're both obsessed with it. It was a no brainer for us.
DS is Matthew James (that was out boy name for DD)
So we tend to like traditional boy names and pretty, unique but not too far off the wagon girl names.
So far for this baby we have some solid boy names to choose from:
Ryan Patrick Michael Patrick Conor Patrick
But struggling on girl names:
Penelope Jane (or Grace) Maisie Jane
We don't really like anything else and I've probably looked through about a million names.
I got my panorama results back a few days ago and baby is a boy! We had such a hard time picking DS' name last time I was worried we wouldn't agree on anything but it's actually been easier. Our short list is Nolan, Malcolm, and Reid. So we just have to narrow it down. Our last name is Scottish and DS1 is Graham.
DD1 is Winter Elise. She went unnamed for 2.5 days in the hospital. It's such a big decision!
We're having a tough time deciding with this girl.
Front runners are Penelope and Lena. My hang up with Penelope is Penny being a nickname because we call DD Winnie. Winnie and Penny is too much I think.
Our other choices for W were Vera Ruth, or Brooke JoAnne.
I love Gemma, and Cora but DH isn't on board with those.
I think I'm leaning towards Lena. I'd love to find another nature type name, but the ones I like are already taken by people in our lives. Like Iris, I love Iris, but we have one in the family already.

We haven't even discussed it yet. DD went 24 hrs with us trying on our top contender list names on her. I suppose since we had such a hard time before, we won't be adding many other girl names so the other names are Katherine and Margaret. Boy names were harder for us and we really only had Theodore and Benjamin. I hope DH still likes Theodore because I love!!
TTC #1 starting July 2013, RE last 2014 First Angel baby lost July 11, 2014 IUI #1 with injections successful: EDD 11/24/15 Rainbow baby DD born 11/14/15 TTC#2 October 2016 Second Angel baby lost Jan 5, 2017
