We just got word that our 4 year old nephew has a brain tumour. We don't know all the details, they are still running more tests. But we could use all the prays or whatever you can send our way.
We can't even reach Jo's parents as they are travelling to FL for their 3 month vaca. But we expect they will be turning back around and heading home to be with their son and grandson. So Jo might be flying out to be with her brother till they get back. Not sure yet.
We are trying to stay as calm as possible. I think I pulled a muscle from crying, so we are trying to keep it together so that I don't cause stress on the baby. So hard to do that....
Lots and lots of love heading your family's way. Fuck cancer. I'm hoping for the absolute best outcome and that they can figure out a way to kill the tumor. It is amazing the new treatments they've been able to come up with in just the last few years. Hugs.

I hope so too! Jo just left to make the 3.5 hour trip to the airport. She flies out tonight. They already took him in for surgery and he's having a shunt put in to help drain the fluid in his brain, Saturday they are going to remove the tumour. I can't believe how fast things can change. I hope they can get that thing out and he has a full recovery.
Thank you for all the love and positive vibes. Our nephew had the tumour removed today and they managed to get it all. He is recovering but of course, still has a long road. They still need to determine what kind of tumour and further treatment that is required. Today was a super stressful day. Waiting for news is the worst, and having brain surgery is no walk in the park. Needless to say, I got a lot of stuff done around the house to keep me occupied today.
