Hi All,
I was pretty active on TB and then over here on T3 while trying to conceive #1. A little bit about me...it took us 4 yrs, 5 IUI's, 2 IVF's and ultimately 1 FET to become pregnant with our DS. I struggle with endo, hypothyroidism and Hashimotos, and DH has morphology issues. We transferred 2 5dy blasts and he was born in Oct. of '15. He's the light of our lives and such a joy! Shortly after he was born we moved from HI to GA and had our remaining embryos shipped over the summer (a very stressful process).
We just did another FET in December and transferred two 5dy blasts. We are overjoyed to have had three positive betas (#1: 310, #2: 2,155 and #3: 22,443). But this past week I had three days of bleeding and cramping. Of course I ran to find ye olde "spotting poll" and read that whole thread again to calm my nerves. My RE had me come in for an early U/S yesterday (I just turned 6 weeks yesterday and they don't like to do first U/S until you have completed the 7th week). But I was thankful they were willing to see me and try to see what was going on. Thankfully they couldn't see anything wrong or a cause for the bleeding. But they did see TWO sacs, fetal poles and - to our shock - two heartbeats (we weren't expecting to see a HB this early). Both babies are looking great and we are so grateful. EDD is Sept. 1st. However it is still SO early so DH and I are trying to be cautiously optimistic and praying everything continues to grow and stay on track. I am just as nervous this time around as I was the first time. I'm beyond thankful but also feel like I'm carrying around the most fragile piece of glass that I'm scared of breaking every minute. I hate infertility and what it does to my thoughts and emotions.
Anyway...what else...I love sailing, reading, am a former professional ballet dancer, and I'm a flight attendant. Also I'm so grateful for the support from the ladies on TCF while trying to conceive both before and most recently. Looking forward to getting to know some new people and re-connecting with some familiar faces (names) here.
