That's me but it's not me....I am handling the cold like a boss!
Factory tour today and dinner out. We get to see all the new playground components and all the cool and boring things that go into designing/building all the playgrounds. I'm kind of excited!
I made cinnamon apple french toast in the crock pot over night. It's the worst. It's like scrambled eggs with bread in them. W seemed to like it and the apples were sweet but man the actual bread part sucked. Do not recommend.
Lol skinandbones our driveway is icy and the roads are a little bit so we're staying inside. No thank you to sliding in my car. Neither of our cars have 4wd and W doesn't even have a winter coat. We live in very different climates.
packmomma most of the roads are fine, but there are plenty of bad spots still. Driving to work was...fun this morning.
Our driveway is steep and still icy. H was slipping as he walked to his car yesterday so I'm nervous about carrying w out to the car. I wish we could use our 2 car garage for things like...I don't know...CARS. But alas it's filled with tools and a trailer to carry said tools and wood.
We're having a good morning. I was able to vacuum the living room and pick up all of W's toys. I have to find a way to organize everything since we're using that room more. I also vacuumed my fan as much as I could. We really should've done that BEFORE we got carpet in. Live and learn.
I am freezing in this library and so ready to go home. Not looking forward to tonight, though. The past few nights have been total shit-tastic as far as sleep goes. Trying a bedtime snack tonight to see if it is hunger waking him. The past two nights he has woken up at the same time and is screaming a horrific scream so I am more so thinking he is having bad dreams. Mom-ing is hard.
I just spent almost an hour with W strapped to my back cleaning that stupid french toast thing out of my crockpot and it's still not clean! Stupid recipe.
layloo08 we had a couple nights where w woke up at the exact same time and I couldn't figure out wtf was going on. It didn't seem to be nightmares or teething. I nursed him and he nursed hard so I think it may have been a growth spurt. Luckily after a few days he went back to normal and didn't need to nurse motn
