I've been listening to a lot of Alessia Cara (A LOVES the Scars To Your Beautiful video) and Tish Hyman. Very different styles, but they both write from the heart and have powerful songs.

ampaints, 90's hip hop is one of my and Poppy's favorites to dance to!
Also, I don't know Gin Wigmore but she sounds like someone I'd be into. And if she's super popular excuse my ignorance— I feel like the cloud and digital streaming are great, but that they also don't encourage me to find any new music/ artists at all. I'm still stuck in the mid-early oughts.
I have been listening to the new Tribe Called Quest album a lot.
th3stryck3r I feel the same about streaming. Part of why I made this post to see what everyone else is listening to.
I'm not certain how popular Gin Wigmore is. I would recommend starting with Holy Smoke and Gravel and Wine. Her latest album didn't quite have the grit those did.

There is a 90's hip hop station in my city. It's like a walk down memory lane to my college days. Much of the music is stuff I would dance to during quarter draft night at the bar next to my college.
I've been listening to a lot of Foo Fighters since DH is trying to get his Foo cover band started.
skinandbones I just realized how long is been since I listened to Foo Fighters and turned on Skin and Bones. Man I forgot how much I love this album! I think I'm about to spiral on Foo Fighters for a while.
