Hi! G woke up to party again last night but at least she waited until 4:30 this time. It's getting progressively later and quieter so maybe this wake up will be gone in a few days. This child will be eating me out of house and home soon. This morning she ate 2 scrambled eggs and a slice of whole wheat toast followed by her cup of milk. I have to work for two hours this afternoon and hit the grocery store. I have been trying to get there for days but MH has had my car and it's not close enough to walk with G in this weather.
Grumble grumble, snow. Grumble grumble, work. Grumble grumble, all the managers called in sick. Grumble.
I'm sorry that your managers suck. That used to enrage me. I got to work. How do you think I got there, helicopter? I hope you have an easy day.
Makes me so mad! Especially since I live farther than either of them. The one lives 5 miles away. Plus, I have a small child to get to daycare which is in the OPPOSITE direction of work. #annoyed The supervisor that they put on a pedestal was late and he's pretty much useless.

Working from home since we're currently getting hammered with snow up here. obi I hope you're cozy up there!
It took me 45 mins to drop J at DC this morning. Usually a 10 minute drive but with the snow come accidents and a general lack of common sense on the road.
It took DH over an hour to get to work as well so looks like I'll be doing pick up today as well.

We aren't getting it too bad here right now. Its snowing steadily but not heavy. I have been living with 2-3ft of snow since early December though so maybe I'm a bad judge at this point, haha.
I was actually thinking about heading down to the walk in clinic but if it's that nasty out I may put it off until tomorrow.

If it's not urgent I would wait until tomorrow. I shovelled the driveway when I got home from dropping J (845ish) and it's already covered again.
Plus, the roads haven't really been plowed. There was a huge accident on the bypass.

Yikes. Home it is then. Its just a sore throat, but I am not even convinced that it is strep and not just viral yet anyhow.
My H works evenings this week so hopefully it is cleared up by the time he heads in, and for his drive home. He had to stay home last Wednesday because they closed 10 and most of the side roads, so his work would be less than thrilled if he had to call in again.
So do you guys all remember my coffee saga from a couple months ago where the owner/office manager bought all decaf because it is healthier, but then drinks keurig coffee anyways?
So, last week I was in the lunch room when she came back from the grocery store with more cans of decaf. I was like WTF? Then I noticed that there were 2 cans of decaf in the garbage. So who has been drinking all this decaf coffee? There is a container of regular folgers on the counter by the coffee makers so I dumped almost all of it out into a Ziploc bag yesterday. This morning the same can was filled back up again. SHE HAS BEEN PUTTING DECAF IN THE REGULAR COFFEE CAN!!
That is some next level shit, we have all been drinking decaf for months.
This woman has some serious control issues.
Like... That is some kind of shit you would pull on your kids when they are being picky.

Oof. Sorry you're not feeling well. I hope it passes quickly!
It's supposed to change to rain later this afternoon/evening but there is a wind warning for Orangeville/Shelburne/Mount Pleasant.
Maybe just keep him up to date on the current conditions where you are. That's what I'm doing with my DH.

Omg! I can't believe that! She's got some nerve! What are you going to do? Are you going to out her?
