I'm already at work as I have to leave early to pick up J. Tonight is DHs company holiday party so I'm on solo duty. Pretty ok with that since it means I can watch crap TV and eat popcorn for dinner.

Send all the coffee please. Not only was G up partying from 1:30-3:30 but I didn't fall asleep at all until almost 4. Then MHs alarm went off at 4:40. I cat napped until he left at 5:40. It's 7:20 and G is up. I hear her rolling around. I have to get her in a few minutes. I have no idea how I am going to survive today.
Good morning. I'm wearing my new makeup to work and I'm excited. DH is getting M dressed right now then we're on our way out. She was wide awake before 7 when yesterday I had to wake her at 9:45. No idea what that's all about. Annoying.
DS has been grumpy af the past few days. He doesn't want to eat and isn't sleeping great. He's had a low grade fever on and off. I always bought ear pulling was a tell tale sign. It now I'm reading that isn't necessarily true. He's never had an ear infection but I'm wondering if I should get them checked?

I would. My oldest dd was always a text book ear infection kid. But I never knew when my middle kid had an ear infection. Not every kid shows the obvious signs.
We got home from daycare yesterday walked in and K started throwing up, she threw up till midnight and pretty sure she didn't sleep at all.....so tired....

I landed a freelance project with a big client and am super excited! He accepted my quote yesterday so now just awaiting payment. It's the design of a new energy drink product labeling with a well known company but cannot release details just yet. Thrilled!

You want to know what's sexy? A man who not only suggests watching The Bachelor and also reminds you about it, but will watch it with you and with interest.

K always was clingy and crabby, for a day or 2 then would have a high fever and I knew it was ears.
DH taught M to say "Tuna!" when you ask her "what's your favorite fish?" since he just finished a big tuna report. I just got a text from my sitter that now when you ask her "what's your name?" she says "tuna!" Hahahaha. We broke her. I'm dying.

I scored $38 tickets to FL in March, and now I'm looking for return flights. Prices finally dropped to $97, but I don't know if I should wait or book them.
I always worry that they'll drop even more, but then again they could go up and I'll be kicking myself either way.

Double ear infection. First one ever. #gobigorgohome

I had an incident last night where an unsupervised older child pushed my kid down and almost hurt her.
I was furious. I called the school and they apologized, but I'm still mad.
I love the school, but will pull her in a second if this happens again. It was ridiculous.
And I realize this short version might sound like I'm petty, but it was a deal. I get that kids will get mad and she'll get hit, but it was completely unprovoked and his mother and teacher weren't around.

Someone tell me what to do!
Book them. Also, don't sites follow your history to see if your watching flights and then bump the prices up?

I think they do. I always clear my cookies after I check.
Work is busy today and my boss is being slightly annoying. Like "you're definitely going to have your hands full tomorrow" and then 2 seconds later "hey, remember to do this other thing" Um, ok, thanks.

I would be pissed too. One of the trainings we got often when I worked for the Y was how to NOT leave older kids unsupervised with younger ones for a variety of reasons. This being one!
I'm sorry that happened. You have every right to be ragey!
What was the hardest was that his actions were so intentional. He didn't accidentally bump her over, he just pushed her for no reason. And she's a peanut. It was so sad to watch.

CatLady that's one of the big reasons I deal with our DC lady canceling as much as she does. I'm worried about sending her to a bigger center and not knowing what's going on since our little sister can't tell us yet!
Other than this incident I LOVE it and I can't recommend it enough. But if she's not safe, nothing else matters.
Hiiii. Sorry to see there are sick moms, littles and a general lack of much needed sleep around here. I hope everyone is feeling better and well rested soon!
I am on the same bench since I have had some kind of cold since Sunday. Luckily nobody else in the house seems to have caught it. I am betting that as soon as I feel better either my H or C will get hit with it. C'est la vie.
I miss being around here regularly. I will try to check in more from now on.

I have been lazy most of the day. Before dinner all I managed to do was play with G, probe and do a load of laundry. Since dinner I have folded said laundry, washed the pots, loaded and started the dishwasher, vacuumed all of downstairs, took out the trash, cleaned the litter box and mopped the kitchen floor. Let's see how long this burst of motivation lasts after G goes to bed.
