Thanks everyone. I guess I need to just go and look. It's so overwhelming with all the options. We don't walk around a city much, but I do go on lots of walks and live near a park. I don't really know what I'll do when T is born though! It's all new to me!

MissSally, We have the Britax B-ready which I think has a bassinet option.
Things I liked about this stroller: You could flip the seat around to face you. This was really important to me because I read a British study that showed that babies/toddlers showed less signs of stress when facing a parent and parents engaged more with their children when they were facing them in the stroller. It had big wheels which made going over terrain easier. It worked well with the carseat - didn't need any extra adapter pieces.
I had the Britax b-agile and will use it again but don't love it. My main dislike is that the basket is really small so for longer outings like the zoo or shopping I didn't feel we had enough room. On the plus side, it is lightweight and very maneuverable.

I'm at the airport waiting for my flight to home office. I'll be gone for the whole week and am currently regretting not using a bigger suitcase so that my snoogle could come too.

I think we're going to get a Joovy Caboose Ultralight. It's a sit and stand but there's also a spot for DS to sit in the back. My sister has one and loves it.

Oh man. I went to kohls because I had some coupons. I got 6 adorable little summer outfits/sleepers for $14. I'm so excited. This kid already has so many clothes. I need to stop.

The only thing stopping me is not knowing the sex!
2 weeks from tomorrow and I can start buying clothes!!! I can't wait.
bepandnick, have a safe trip! where are you off to?
We bought chicco key fit bravo system. We've obviously never used it, but found a lot of good reviews and know some people who had it and loved it.
We have the chicco key fit and love it! I'm a little worried about the price of the chicco double stroller though. I have to research what other cheaper brands will fit our car seat.
Thoughts on just getting a jogging stroller as opposed to both a regular AND jogging?
My friend has an almost new Britax car seat that she said she would give me, and it got me thinking that if I want a Bob stroller anyways, why not just get that and not deal with two different ones?
MissSally, my cousin's wife LOVES her double Bob, but man is that thing huge. If you go play and the single folds up small enough for your needs then it should be fine. They're just longer so it looks like they may be harder to maneuver around stores or whatever.
But I've only seen a double in real life, so the single may be a different story.

I guess I didn't think about it in stores. I was just thinking for walks and such. I assume I'll wear the baby for the most part grocery shopping and such...?
That is true for like grocery shopping, for me anyway. But in the colder months W and I go to the mall to walk several times a week, and I browse while I'm there often.
Of course when your baby is older you could get an umbrella for things like that and use the Bob for outdoor adventures. They are so nice.

My sister did this. She was able to borrow a car seat frame stroller from a friend for things like going to the mall.
I gifted her a higher end umbrella stroller for travelling as well. She said was glad to have it as well as the bob.

Yeah this is exactly what I'm thinking. I'd rather spring for a more expensive jogger and a nice umbrella for travel. I love walking and running when it's nice out, plus we are outdoors a lot so I think it'll be great to have.

I can't imagine going to the mall here that often. But maybe I'll change my mind when I have cabin fever and it's -8 outside.

I was never a mall person until it got too cold to go to the park with DD. We both were going stir crazy, plus I was in a step bet so I needed to walk every day.
Now once a week we go to the play place or gymboree class and I walk the rest of the time.

We just have a jogger and an umbrella stroller. It's been fine for us around the neighborhood and shopping and such. We didn't use it all that often and now DS wants nothing to do with it. I hope he changes his mind before garage sales start up again otherwise our Saturday mornings will be ruined!
MissSally I only had a BOB when DS was an infant. I never really used it in stores, (I would wear him, and I don't shop much anyway). It was f fine for us. I ended up getting an umbrella style stroller for a vacation when he was almost 2, just to save space because of some of the stuff we had planned for he trip, and bc every time I flew with the BOB I was afraid it would get broken when I gate checked it.
