Hi all! I spent all day Saturday vomiting so went to urgent care Sunday and got Zofran. I'm feeling so much better. Omg, wonder drug. Also, what the hell? I thought nausea was supposed to start going away after 12 weeks, not ramping up.
But since I've lost another few pounds I can really feel my bump forming. That is so cool.

Not much here. We are getting ready to run a couple errands and go to some used book stores. Ultrasound is tomorrow. Hoping beyond hope that everything is okay and I get graduated from the RE. Preparing for everything to not be okay because that is what we do.
JustJudy I'm glad the zofran helped! therealbug everything crossed for your apt!
Afm, I have my NT scan Friday. Today is day 4 of not being able to find baby's hb on my doppler. But I've never found it so I'm thinking my uterus is tilted or something. Is that something your RE would normally see and let you know? Friday can't come soon enough!!

My OB couldn't find the heartbeat on the doppler at 10 weeks or 12 weeks. I finally heard it last week at almost 18 weeks. Apparently a tilted uterus was in my ultrasound reports from the RE so the OB wasn't concerned but I had never heard about it until then. You could definitely have a tilted uterus and baby is still very small.

It can be pretty hard to find the heart-beat on a home doppler. What type do you have?
Hey all, I just got back from Florida. It was such a fun trip (business trip) with great weather but I'm exhausted. We ran nonstop from 8am-11pm every day. I had my 8 week appointment last week and we heard the heartbeat. It was 176 beats per minute and was so cool to hear. DH, who is NOT emotional, got teary eyed...so sweet. Baby is measuring a few days ahead and I'm feeling pretty good. My only issues are hip pain and neck pain.
I'm actually in the waiting room right now for my NT scan. Trying not to think about it too much. 2nd tri is coming close, and I'm really looking forward to hitting that milestone.

Hi all! I'm just waiting for our u/s finally on Friday...seems like it's so far away still but at least it's in sight. We fly to CA on Saturday so I'm extra anxious about the news and dealing with it before we fly out for a week with the fam. I mostly feel ok, massive motion sickness and headaches on and off and I need to get back to the gym big time. I'm giving myself the next two weeks of laying low and taking it easy then it's back to normal-ish (which means at least walking on a treadmill a few times a week...we aren't talking marathon training here).
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
wannabmama definately give yourself the break you need. I could not exercise at all until week 9 because I was SO exhausted. I was tired walking up stairs. I (somewhat) accepted I can enjoy the break and waited until the worst of the exhaustion went away.
Thank you yoshijo28 I was getting my weight under control right before this, so it's hard. If the weather was nicer and I could at least go for walks, I'd be happier. But I'm just exhausted so I'm trying to listen to my body, even though my wedding ring is getting awfully tight already...ugh!

Thats they key..listen to your body. It's something I'm still learning to do because your body says one thing and your mind says another.

AFM, I'm 8w3d and other than the stomach bug I had over the weekend, feeling good. My spotting stopped so I'm relieved about that. No real symptoms other than fatigue. I have another appointment on Tuesday but I'm not sure what they'll do during it. Hoping they'll try the doppler but it will probably be a bit too early for that. I have a feeling it will just be a "how are you feeling" type appointment which will be kind of annoying.

Hi everyone I am super late to the check-in. I started my semester this week after having the Fall off and it was a bit of an adjustment. My friends warned me that the freshmen this year were super needy but I as totally not prepared for hand-holding on day 1! WTF kids, you are in college!
We had the NT scan on Monday and everything looked normal, no sign of the SCH or second sac and all measurements were normal. I am pretty sure I saw boy parts but my H said I am crazy. We will see. We went to the MFM and waited two hours. Since it all looked good I think I am going to do the anatomy scan with my OB I never wait more than 15 mins there.
I am 7wks6dys with twins. Had an U/S and bloodowork on Tuesday (this should have been my first scan but they did end up seeing me in my 5th week when I had bleeding). Everything looked great - relieved to still see two babies with two heartbeats around 156bpm and meausuring right on track a couple days apart from each other. DH was with me this time so that was really special.
Since they have now seen two strong U/S the RE has released me to my OB (appt in 3wks). I am nervous to be released already but glad things are going this well so far. I'd selfishly love one more U/S with the RE but our bank account would NOT (um, especially since U/S cost more when there are two sacs to look at...and so it begins! Haha) AND its an 1.5hr drive each way.
They also tapered down my Estradiol and PIO dosage and have me ending it in a week. I'm nervous to stop! Otherwise feeling pretty good besides some nausea and queasiness that comes and goes.
Congrats on the twins dashuria! I'm 9 weeks and just picked up a couple books on being pregnant with twins on Amazon. I can let you know what I think of them if you want.
For all the ladies doing PIO injections: I finally hit a nerve. It sucks as bad as you think and my right hip is now off limit for shots until I decide I can stick a needle in it again.
My puppy could tell I was in a lot of discomfort and wanted to comfort me while I was laying on my stomach with an ice pack on the area. So he decided to stand on my hip. He's a lover.

Just had our u/s and at 8 weeks there are two clear beans growing with two strong heartbeats! We "graduated" to the OB and now just hope things keep going well! I can't believe we may get twins...but I'm thrilled! And terrified, ha!

wannabmama, yaaaay I'm so happy you had two great heartbeats! What a relief! And I can agree with the thrilled and terrified all at the same time feelings. eeep!
therealbug, yes I would love to know if you think the books are worthwhile! And OOWW to hitting a nerve, I'm sorry!! I did it before and had numb spots (felt like when you have had novocaine) for weeks. :/ Hope you get some relief soon!
yellowcat, glad you had a good NT scan! But UGH to the two hour wait. Glad you can have your next scan elsewhere!
