DD turned 8 months on the 12th and I don't know her stats, but everyone keeps telling me how big she is getting! She is mainly wearing 6 month clothes with a few 9 month shirts mixed in and is still in size 2 diapers.
She is sitting up (but no movement yet), and is doing well at saying her consonants - dadadada, babababa, gagagaga are a few of her favorites. She has started smiling these big goofy grins, which are amazing to come home to! And I swear she preens a bit when I go to take a photo
She just really started to like food and is eating more and different things. I just got a cookbook for baby food and I'm excited for her to try some new recipes!
Overall she is a really happy baby and I feel SO lucky!!

I have an 8 month-old!! I'm a few days late and don't have any stats because we haven't seen the pediatrician in a while, but DS is in 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. I suspect he's still on the smaller end.
He is sitting independently but still topples over quite a bit. He loves tummy time, rolling and spinning all over the place, and is great at pulling his knees underneath him but isn't moving forward quite yet. He loves to babble, and any sound that involves copious amounts of saliva is a favorite.
We're now up to eating pureed baby food 3 times per day. He's starting to refuse bottles in favor of solids. We're also playing with finger foods (mostly he throws them on the floor, but occasionally they end up in his mouth).
He adores our cats and gets really excited when he sees or hears them. He also loves the chiming clock in our living room, when I sing and/or dance, and being squeezed.
8m on the 24th. She is about 17.5 lbs. Size 6-9 months and 3 diapers. Not crawling and still no teeth. She loves all of the Gerber baby purees. She's had almost every fruit/veggie/combo that they sell. She eats 3 times a day. She's still drinking just as much breast milk. I thought she'd drink less once she started eating, but she really isn't. She still wakes once a night for a bottle. Her teacher said she should be able to STTN by now, and recommended we stop the MOTN bottle, but that's easier said than done. She loves our dog and watches his every move. We've tried to test sippy cups, but she hasn't gotten the hang of that yet. We've also tried Gerber Puffs snacks, but she drops most on the floor.
DD turned 8 months on the 27th. She is about 19 pounds, 6-9month clothes, size 3 diaper. She crawls, pulls up on everything, puts everything in her mouth and cruises on furniture.. She says mama and dada. She smiles a lot but rarely laughs, unless she's splashing in the bath. She loves food, still nurses 5-6 times a day, and will bob up and down when we say, "dance." She stopped her reflux meds, is still sensitive to dairy, and is overall doing MUCH better!!
8 months last week. She is 16.5 lbs and a chubby girl. She currently has an ear infection and a 2nd round of RSV.
She loves to be naked and suck on her toes. She's not too ambitious to crawl or pull up...so she stays where I leave her. She puts her arms up when asked "how big is mairin" she waves sometimes and says dada. Her favorite thing is to grab glasses of faces.
shoogars, I hope she feels better soon! DD also loves to grab glasses. I think I need a backup pair cause mine are going to end up broken one of these days!
R turned 8 months yesterday. He is 19.4 pounds, wears 12 month clothes and size 3 (snug fit) diapers.
He is enjoying solids and we recently added meat to the lineup which he really enjoys but I have to feed it to him. He drinks water from a sippy cup and can suck down a pouch.
Him and big brother have been sharing sicknesses for 6 weeks and he's getting his second tooth. Due to the above events he is waking a lot during the night.
He claps, waves, raises his arms in the air all the time and is obsessed with his reflection. He babbles all day but the only real word I've understood is dada. He is scooting and gets around but not full blown crawling. His favorite activity is peek a boo and hides himself under everything. His smile is infectious after someone says "where's Remi??" He smiles and laughs all day and (when not sick) a very happy little dude.

DD turned 8 months on the 8th. She is probably 18ish pounds, size 4 diapers and mostly 6-12 clothes.
She FINALLY decided that food is pretty good. She just started really crawling this week but prefers scooting. This was a big week, she also started pulling up and saying mama!
Her top four teeth are about to pop through. Still hasn't figured out a sippy cup.

8 months old today 😢 where is the time going? Last I checked she was 17.6 lbs. Wearing 12 month clothes (the 9 months end up as Capron once you hold her), size 3 diapers.
She's clapping, waving, has been crawling like a fiend for months, pulling up on everything. She can babble although still mostly just screeches. She loves food, especially shredded meats and fruit. Hasn't figure out a sippy cup yet (she chews on it when I hold it up to her mouth). Her big sister is her best friend. She's such a jovial little babe.

E hit 8 months last week. He's probably 18 pounds and almost 29 inches. He's in the squishiest, loveliest, smiliest, uber perfect baby age. He smiles and laughs so easily, which is a bit of a change for me, because I used to have to work for DD's smiles.
He's not yet crawling but he can rock a determined army crawl. I'm comfortable with this level of mobility. He can sign for "milk" and "more," and he's decided he loves solids, especially making a mess of finger food.
He went from 4 teeth at seven months to 8 teeth at eight months, which explains A LOT about the 6.5-7.5 mo range.
I'm on an airplane and leaving him overnight for the first time. Feeeeeeeeeels. Work trip, and I won't see babies until Friday morning. I expect to feel a mix of freedom and desperate missing of them. Also my boobs will probably hurt with all the extra pumping I did.
We hit the 8 month mark yesterday. I'm still stunned with the 2/3 of a year thing. It's crazy.
We haven't been to the pedi since 6 months, so no idea on height or weight, but they're growing! Both are in 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers at night, cloth during the day. G is in 12 month sleepers. Long torsos over here! My favorite thing they do right now is flapping their arms and squealing when I walk in the door at the sitter's. Mama is exciting! I'm also very thankful that both sleep well. Usually 11.5-12 hours at night. Both still love their bottles and have absolutely zero interest in every sippy I've offered.
L is such a chatty Cathy! She babbles all the time and has been sooo happy lately. She is very interested in finger foods over purees. She loves mum mums, puffs, veggie sticks. She will get up on her knees and rock, but no crawling yet, and that's fine with me. I found her sitting up in her crib yesterday morning, so I guess that's a new skill. She's also my toothless wonder, but her hair has been growing and has gotten so much thicker lately! Still in love with her pacifier and her other new fave, her sweetooth ice cream cone teether.
G is my little crazy man. He is always quick with a grin and a squeal. He's very minimally mobile. No crawling yet, but between scooting backwards and rolling, he makes his away around the room. He's been rocking for awhile now, but still hasn't gotten the hang of forward motion. As far as food, he is opposite of his sister in that he prefers to be spoon fed purees. He will entertain mum mums and puffs, but they don't thrill him. Most finger foods are more fun to feed to the dog. He still just has 2 bottom teeth, and they are damn adorable. He loooves books and his *decoy* remote control. This kid is also a huge fan of splashing in the bath tub. Water, water, everywhere!
As hard as it is to have two babies at once, I'm certain that I hit the baby jackpot with these two. ❤

DS is 8 months today! Finally! I feel like this thing is up forever before he hits the month marker!
He's 20.5 pounds and over 28 inches. He hasn't gained any weight this month but has had an ear infection, pink eye, a cold and has become much more mobile and active. He's never crawling but is super close and scoots and rolls to get everywhere. He's also really close to pulling himself up and really wants to walk. So I'm trying not to worry. He is getting taller too!
We just moved into size 4 diapers and have been in 12 month clothes for a while. He is in love with his brother and has started reaching for people to pick him up. He's super babbling and wants to talk to us. He also already wants every toy big brother has. He has one tooth, is still breastfeeding well, be it more distracted, and has solids twice a day. He loves fruits and grains and some veggies but hates green beans and peas. He also loves baths and splashing. He looks at me, splashes as much as he can, gives me "the look" then laughs and laughs like he knows he got away with something. It's so adorable (for now)!
sandandsea, I hope your little guy is finally past all the sickness for good! What a month! Peas and green beans have gotten the same reviews over here. Your DS and mine sound like they would be quite the trouble-makers together. Haha, "the look"...it's so true! Little stinkers.
DS2 was 8 months on February 17th. He is still around 20 lbs, but he is about 29" now. He's now wearing size 5 diapers and wears mostly 18 month+ clothes. He is still wearing a few 12-18 month clothes. He is crawling as of yesterday! He can pull himself up to standing, says mama all day long and he has a tooth coming. He suddenly seems so grown up. He's eating 2 meals a day and we've been giving finger foods and purees. We've started giving baths in the big tub, but he doesn't like it. He starts crying and trying to get out. He'll get used to it eventually, but it makes bath time stressful. He still nurses a billion times during the day and at night. He takes 2 naps a day and is held for both.
DS is 8 months old today. He is a little over 20 pounds and close to 30 inches long (I'm assuming since he was 28" at six months). He army crawls all over but still can't sit that long unsupported. He would rather flail his body back and forth. He loves purees still, but I have also given him yogurt, some shredded cheese, and his new love...meatballs! He makes the "mmmm" sound the whole time he eats. He says dada, and I think he knows who it is. He loves staring at him and our dog. He apparently naps at the sitter on his own but likes to be held for weekend naps (that are short). He sleeps pretty well getting up once usually between 3-5am and goes back down. He is such a happy baby-always smiling and laughing. I still can't believe we made him!
DD turned 8 months on Tuesday. She is the funniest, sweetest little babe ever. She sits, but no crawling yet. She has 8 (!) teeth and loves food. She gets solids 3 times a day and still nurses too. No words yet (although DH and I both swear we heard her say 'hi' to the cat).
No idea of weight or length, but she's in 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
