Does anyone else's LO have baby acne? L broke out this week. How long does it usually last? Is there anything I can do or should I just leave it alone? Also, anyone use baby lotion for dry skin? So far I haven't, but he's peeling all over.
Mine got it bad. It's all over her face, chest, tummy and back. I feel so bad. Idk what to do about it though.
CoffeeOnIce I'm in Nebraska also! What part are you in?
I hope everyone stays warm and gets their stuff fixed. It always has to happen on the coldest days!
I was so excited a couple nights ago bc LO slept for long stretches, he paid me back last night by going back to every 2 hours
We're in Bellevue. Omaha and Bellevue our whole lives actually. I saw your name once and thought it had to mean Nebraska since I leave the apartment maaaaybe once a day I don't really care if its cold out right now, just as long as dh isn't crashing in a blizzard. So I'm happy right now haha. nemomof2

Beau had his shots today. It's cold and windy and now we are on Zantac and vit D drops. And DD who had a fever yesterday (think food poisoning) is up and attem with a hankering for chocolate pancakes from Perkins so here we are! Here's B pre and post shots.

DD has it on her face. Combine that with the peely skin, and she's a little hot mess. I've been using Aveeno lotion on her body after baths, with a tiny bit for her face. I'm switching to the Honest healing balm for her face to see if it helps.

I'm not sure if this is the best but the pediatrician said to put nothing, no lotion on the skin, so ds has peeling skin and little pimples on his hands. I do try to wash him with a warm wash cloth, but have been sticking to the advice to do nothing until I see her again on the 24th. She said that putting on lotions and creams now can cause skin problems later but I'm not sure why.

I feel so isolated. 19 days pp and I've been taking it super easy for the last week because activity causes an increase in bleeding and I have 2 stitches yet to heal (started with quite a few more). So snuggles in bed and watching Friends has been my life lately. My dh hangs out with me during the evenings and we watch Star Trek, and he's been real good getting meals together for me and helping with diaper changes... But mostly he is in on his computer reading about computer parts or hanging out with friends that come over or his mom (who we live with). Meanwhile I just lie here with a baby.. Watching Netflix.. Kinda depressed. I wish he would at least check on me every hour. I love my baby but she's not at a very interactive stage yet. And today I am hoping to be up and about a little more, possibly get out, and dh let me sleep a little longer, but I asked him not too long. That was at 11. It's 2 now. Mil is back home from mini vacay and I haven't seen him. It's been an hour and a half now and I'm just too stubborn to get up without him coming back first like he said he would. Sorry this is so long it's just been bugging me a ton lately.

Yes, my poor baby. It's all over her cheeks and chin. We were told to do nothing, except to put breast milk on it. We wash her face with a warm wash cloth once a day, and then I put the BM on, but that's it. It's starting to heal up on its own.

I hear you except I have a two year old and dh has a bulging disc in his spine so not intentionally he makes me feel bad for taking it easy since our toddler is a handful right now.

Told DH no more valentines chocolate in the house because I want to try to cut the crap out of my diet and lose the rest of this baby weight. So, naturally, he does this:

My DS has an awful cold (ugh these viruses!) and I have never seen him so tired. He almost fell asleep in his lunch, took a 4 hour nap, and then nearly fell asleep in his dinner! I hope he rests tonight. I think his cough is keeping him up.
DD on the other hand seems to be resisting sleep. Sleep tonight so your mom can sleep little one!
My Soda Stream broke, but apparently the machines have a 10 year warranty so the company sent me a new one for free.
I rarely complain about winter, but I am ready for April to get here.
My husband sucks at motn feedings! Last night was his second in 6 weeks and I had to get up and help because M peed on himself and my husband freaked out! He said it's hard to wake up in the motn and do things when he's tired. I told him he better suck it up and get used to it!
I don't understand why DS can't sleep at night in perfect sleep conditions, but can easily sleep during a feeding while breast milk is squirting him in the face. At least it's a preemptive strike against baby acne, right?
